How funny is your joke now?

Do you still 'laugh out loud'?

It's cute how you can say things

But not really mean it

Do you think she deserved this?

Do you think he wanted this shit?

She was always the happy type

Believing she could soar higher than a kite

And then you broke her

The word 'sorry' isn't a cure

He always laughed, no matter what

Always had a smile on his face but

What you don't know is he has secrets

His special little demons

Words cut deeper than blades

And scars never go away

She was in pain and nobody seemed to care

He was made fun of for his flippy hair

They both go home and blare music

Nobody hears them sobbing

Thinking they're so alone

Feeling like nobody knows

Numbness can't go away

Like a disease, it's there to stay

Now they're both in hospital beds

Wishing they were dead

But it's okay, right?

Because it was fun for you at some time
