Chapter 1
Aisha :3
Finally the bell rang, and it was the end of English class . Everyone scurried out the classroom door. As usual, I took my time . It was lunch time so I sat at a table in the court yard by myself. I don't have much friends but I've learnt to keep myself company. I'm not a loner or anything. I still have friends. Well a friend. Her name is Laiyla and she's amazing. She's the only one I trust and share my secrets with. She gives great advice. :)
As I sat at the table munching on my cereal bar, Laiyla approached me .We said are salams to each as she sat down. She had a homemade jam scone in her hand which she shared
Laiyla :)
Today was an important day for me at school. It was election day and I was running. Aisha already voted for me which I was happy with but would the rest of the school??? I don't know. But I was trying my best. I gave out flyers explaining why people should vote for me . Some of the teachers gave me advice and I took it in . But there was one person in my way of winning . One person that everyone loved .The girl I hated most .Tarima . She is the only person that I hate with a passion . It's like she loves to criticize every thing I do . For instance, lets say I wear a new hijab to school, she would say ''that thing on your head really doesn't suit you'' even though she is Arab and she's a muslim. I dislike her in every way.

After lunch time it was time for maths class. The sound of Mr MCCarthys voice drowned on and I found myself drifting away. Just as I started to close my eye, Mr MCCarthy snapped his fingers in my face. I woke up with a horrible fright. This was not the first time he did this to me . It's not my fault that his classes are so boring. And to make it even worse for me , mum said that if I don't get at least an A in maths that I'm dead , literally !!!.
After maths class it was home time and I was glad. As usual, I saw Laiyla waiting for me at the school gate.
I hadn't mention this before but my family is stinking rich . I don't want to brag or anything but this a serious issue for me.I don't tell anyone this because they will treat me differently for the money. That's why I go to a public school instead of a private one.
