"That's the point... I don't believe people are innocent." I said with a playful smirk and chugged down the liquor on my hand.

She stared at me, her whole face drawn in confusion. I didn't look at her and focused on my drink.

I was at a gathering, for a girl group fan club that we both joined. I like music, that's why I'm here and partly...to meet this girl.

She's a famous local artist, a teen actress, dancer and entertainer. I won't drop her name but I guess as the story went on, you'd know who she is.

Clad in a body hugging black silky dress that goes below the knees and a slit on side that goes up to your thighs,I garnered people's attention. Including hers, obviously.

She sat beside me, with her long polo sleeves and super short shorts and a hat that's supposedly for hiding her face, but not hiding the fact that she is a head turner too.

Whispers and shrieks are visible on my ears though the room was frantically crowded and noisy with the bass speakers filling up the surroundings.

"Why so sullen for a fun event?" Was what she asked when I was drinking all alone in a crowded room.

"Socializing is not my thing." I answered straightforward, hoping you'd leave with my indifference.

"What's your thing then?" She asked, like an innocent kid.

"Trust me, you wouldn't wanna know." I answered and continue sipping the hard liquor or else...

And so we started talking, with me being extremely cautious of things I will say.

I don't trust people, I don't like the demons that's lurking behind the sweet innocent smile.

"Why not?" She asked and I shrugged my shoulders in return.

"Because I know better?" I answered. She nodded her head and smiled sadly.

"No one can know better. But yeah, we all are monsters in our own limit." She answered.

"Wanna dance?" She suddenly asked in the eerie silence that dropped afterwards.

"I can't dance and besides you should be wary of people like me." I warned, grinning like a kid that I am.

"I don't see a reason to be wary." She answered innocently.

"I bend rulers, sweetie." I pinched her nose and left a chaste kiss on her lips that caught her off guard.

She opened her eyes and mouth wide then gave out an even sly smile, like the vixen that she is.

"Much better." And it was my turn to be flabbergasted. Oh well, two can play this game.

The only rule: never fall.
