Chapter 4

"Misa...Please" I begged Misa to stop hugging me as we walked down the hallways to our class. Takada tried to pull her away but it was useless

"I can't believe we have almost no classes together Light!!" Misa cried

"Who cares about that Misa?! Just stop making a scene it's embarrassing!" I tried knocking so sense into her but she refused to listen

"But Light!!" She made puppy dog eyes.... They never work

"Shut up and get off Misa!!" Takada yelled

"You'd be like this too if you only had a few classes with Light!!"

"Misa, you'll be fine. Your super popular with both boys and girls and almost every kid in the school-"

"That's exactly why Light!!" She stopped walking "...They're only around me because I'm popular... But you're different Light! You're my friend because you like me for who I really am!" She hugged my arm again

"Oh and what am I?!" Takada protested, again trying to pull her away

"...A burden" Misa whispered

"What!!"

"Im kidding Jeez!!"

"Here's my homeroom" I say interrupting them so they won't start fighting again "I'll see you two la...ter" I look inside and see all my class mates are already there and there's only one seat left in the back...Next to someone I wasn't planning to see in a while

"L...?"

He sat in the back in starring out the window. He seemed to be in an awkward position... Kinda like a frog. Someone yelled at him to sit normally, and that's what brought his attention to me. He stared at me for a good 5 seconds before smiling and waving

"Shit." I cursed under my breath

"Hm? What's wrong Light?" Misa peeked inside "Oh!! It's that weird guy we met!!!" She pointed at him

His smile widened when he saw Misa and continued waving, she waved back...He seemed happier to see here...It bothered me.

"...Alight, that's enough Misa" I went inside and stopped her from waving

"But Light!!-"

"Let's go" Takada dragged Misa away and I made my way to the back seat in the corner and tried to avoid eye contact with him, even though it's obvious he's starring at me

"Didn't think I'd be seeing you so soon, Light-kun"

"Yeah? Well me either..."

"You sound mad, are you jealous I waved to your girlfriend?"

"She's not my girlfriend."

"Really?" He sighed "That's a relief"

"...What was that?-"

"Well if she isn't your girlfriend, then there must be another reason you're mad, is it because you're jealous I waved at her...Or you're jealous she waved at me" He continued to smile and observe my face to see my reaction

I didn't want to give him one, but I couldn't help but blush a little

"Neither...And quit saying such stupid things" I smirked and looked at him "Sorry L, but I'm not into guys"

He still had a smug look on his face

"Sorry to disappoint but me either" He faced front, but his eyes never looking away from me "You should look up or you'll get in trouble for talking"

"...Maybe you should sit properly"

He giggled

Damn it, what's with this guy. How did he go from having a smug look... to an adorable-No, not adorable- An annoying look... I hate him...
