                                                        The year is 1728.

It was a cold, crisp morning at the docks. Seagulls cried and flew through the sky, some perching on the tops of bouys and sails of ships, and some landing in the fishy ocean water to ride its' rocking waves. The yells and swearing of seamen mingled with the lapping waves and murmer of townsfolk. It looked like a normal harbor dock town, but a mile or so off shore in the heart of the small city, it was not.

On this particular cold and crisp summer morning, Elizabeth, a smart young lady of twenty, and Will, a kind gentleman of twenty four had gone to the small harbor town for supplies that were for the crew on Captain Jack's ship: The Black Pearl.

You could call these people pirates, but they weren't as cutthroat or fierce as what you'd think of if you heard the word 'pirates.' Although, they did have battles with other pirate crews at sea, go on the usual quest for treasure and gold, and enjoyed their rum.

Whenever Jack's crew stopped at harbor towns along the ocean shore to restock their supplies, the townsfolk would, of course be a bit nervous around them, but according to stories and rumors about this certain crew, the innocent had nothing to fear so most ignored them.

About every three months the crew would stop at a town to restock, twenty out of the sixty crew members were chosen and from early morning till dusk, they bought supplies and food with the gold the captain gave each of them. Both Elizabeth and Will had not bought a single thing yet, but they had all day so they had no need to rush.

Elizabeth Swann was the only female in Jack's crew of sixty, so she had to be tough and hardy, so she was. At first when she joined, working and living with smelly loud and most of the time drunk men took its' toll on her, but now she was one of the best with a sword and one of the most hard working members. She was the govenors daughter, and Jack liked having a piece of royalty on his ship. She was rather stubborn when she chose to be, (the men knew not to mess with her) and was great at yelling and relaying the captain's orders during battles. Yet, on her more feminine side, she was smart, sweet, and kind hearted. She had long blonde hair, pretty blue eyes, and a bronze tan to her wind-whipped skin. She was overrall a beautiful young pirate.

Will Turner was a rather handsome gentleman, also very talented with a sword. He had dark hair, deep brown eyes, and bronze skin from the sun, like the rest of the crew. He fancied Elizabeth and tried to hide his feelings, but it was rather obvious. Especially when he stopped what he was doing and gazed at her until she caught his eye and smiled, and he instantly averted his eyes, turning bright red. But he couldn't help it, for he thought she was the most beautiful creature in the world.

So on days like today, Elizabeth just smiled to herself and allowed him to walk and converse with her. They were good friends, and the crew accepted that, although they would tease Will once in a while, in which cases he would blush and turn the color of a tomato.

So far, the two were enjoying days like these, where they walked side by side and had small conversations with each other- Will especially enjoyed it. But Elizabeth would not like this day at all.
