"So how shall I call you then? I'm Lela." She introduced herself although I found that irrelevant. She's famous, everyone can recognize her in one stare.

Giving me a real nickname warms something inside me though, it felt more personal, special.

"Lela. Nice. My name is something you won't bother to remember." I answered, not really wanting to answer the question.

It's too early to give trust. Her shoulders slump a little bit and nodded her head in disappointment.

"You're really intriguing." She commented as we both sip our cup of coffee. That's right, we ditched the party to grab some coffee and talk.

"I'd want to take that as a compliment." I answered, smiling vaguely and showing a faint dimple on my right cheek.

She smiled back at me, as if my happiness was contagious.

"People's going to look for you." I said, forcing her to go back with my half meant statements.

If I would follow my sane mind, I should leave and never come back. She's a very dangerous trap, like a moth to light and the similar metaphors.

My ego is telling me to strip this girl of off her clothes and show her how much of the demon I was.

My head is battling with my mind and I wasn't thinking rationally.

"I know you're not a fan of mine, but don't make me feel like you don't want me here." She muttered in a sad, serious tone.

I looked at her eyes, glistening in what seemed like tears.

I left out a loud exhale, this is gonna be harder than I thought it was gonna be.

I shook my head and stared deeply on those deep brown orbs.

"Quite the opposite actually, I actually want you here beside me. As selfish as it may sound." I answered, making her stare into my heterochromatic eyes.

We didn't move for a while and stared deeply into each others eyes.

I smiled and she returned the smile.

"I'll take you somewhere only we know." I whispered on her ears as we made our way to the elevator.

She shivered against my voice and I feel chills running down our spine.

This is so gonna be a long night.

So we stumbled inside the room, kissing torridly as my hand made its way to remove her clothes.

She returned the favor, stripping me off of my favorite dress, and I pulled her closer.

"You taste like strawberry. I love it." I said against her lips and lead her to lay down on the waiting bed.

I put myself on top of her and started kissing her sensually, my tongue flicking against hers as my hands claimed her wonderful body.

I was excited, breathless even. Calm yourself, mate. This is a game for two. And I never lose. Never.

"What if I wanna see you again?" She asked me after all has been done. Her hair was cascaded into the side while her birthday suit was covered on the white sheet.

"We'll meet when fate wants us to see each other again." I answered while I was sipping the dark liquor I found on the hotel's fridge.

She nodded her head slowly, and looked down. This isn't simply the right time to see each other.

So we parted ways in a mutual decision not to get each other's contact details.

It was a night of spur of the moment thing that I'd rather stop now than wait for it to break me into pieces later.

-------

"And that's it?" Smoked came out of her mouth as she spoke while looking at our reflection on the crystal clear river.

"Yes. That's it." I confirmed, gazing at the sun setting on the other side.

It has been a week since that fateful encouter with Lela and I'm with my ever lovely best friend, Dee.

"I don't buy that. You?" She said in a teasing tone, grinning like a Cheshire cat with some mischievous plan.

"Say what?" I asked, confusion written all over my face as she tossed her cigarette aside and I light the match stick to give her fire on the new cigarette stick.

"Psh. I know you have some sort of plan to meet her again." Dee answered with her glaring gaze.

She's jealous. As always, she's jealous with girls I date. That's typical for my ever possessive best friend.

"Oh. That. Of course. I have it all wrapped around my fingers." I smirked, concocting the plan inside my head.

Like a moth attracted to fire, I drew myself to her flames, regardless of all the warning I gave myself earlier.

Dee stood up and nodded her head, grinning.

"You never change. You always get what you want." She said while shaking her head.

I just smiled at the comment, looking at the vast river and buildings ahead.

Do I really?

"So you took that modelling job? What happened to "never again?" Dee asked, swaying the topic off of Lela.

"I have reasons." I answered, then took the coffee cup I abandoned earlier and gazed blankly.

And I hope I'm doing it for the right one.

"Tell me about it." Dee demanded while gazing ahead us. I smiled and shook my head.

"In due time." I answered mysteriously. We both shrugged her shoulders.

"You like her huh?" Dee, asked in a teasing sort of way not even bothering to confirm.

I didn't bother answering something as crystal clear as that.

"Tch. Answer me." Dee demanded but I just smiled.
----

"What are you doing here?" Lela asked when she saw me walking in to the studio.

I smiled playfully, a faint dimple showing on my right cheek.

"I'm cheating fate to see you again." I answered vaguely and left her there flabbergasted.

It's about time I give you the same anxiety that's been bugging me since the first time I saw your face.
