Hunter's P.O.V.

Junior year.

That's the only thing on my mind. I'm sitting in my car at the parking lot of my high school. It feels weird to be back home.

I have my black hair slicked back just a bit. I'm wearing normal dark skinny jeans, a white TØP shirt, and black high top converse. Not the perfect outfit for my first day back, but I guess I rather be myself than dress to impress.

I see people I use to know just standing around greeting each other back to the first day of the school year. I'm honestly terrified to try to talk to any of them.

Back when I was in the middle school, also the elementary school, I wasn't the best kid to be around. I was a total asshole. And whoever was my friend, only did it so I wouldn't hurt them or pick on them.

I've changed a lot while I was up in New York. I've matured, I'm ready to try to fix my past.

The only person on my mind right now is her. Lexia Marie Wenner. She was my main victim back then, I guess you can say. The things I did were terrible, I regret all of the things I did. I'm too ashamed to actually talk about what happened with her..

As I'm getting out of my car, I get a few scared glances. As well as people staring at me just wanting to hurt me. I hope I can show people I've changed.
But while I'm just standing there I see my best friend, Nathan Harper. He's with a girl? He never told me he had a girlfriend. I don't think I've ever seen her before, but she's absolutely gorgeous, good for him!

I guess it's time to meet new friends for a new beginning, but I have a feeling this will be a good year.

The rumors are true. He's back.
I've never hated anyone more than I hate Hunter Commons. I hate even hearing his name.

I'm standing in front of the school and I can see him in his car. I just want him to go back to New York. He doesn't belong here anymore, he left and he's more than likely an outcast now.

I see my boyfriend, Nathan. We've been together for 9 months and I couldn't be happier. He may be Hunter's best friend, but I know damn well he isn't anything like how Hunter was.

I walk over to him as he observes my curled light brown hair, a knee-length yellow sundress, and my white converse.

He smiles, "There's my beautiful girlfriend! I've been waiting for you baby girl."

As long as Hunter doesn't bother me, I know that this is going to be one amazing junior year.

Author's Note

Hello guys!
This is my first book on Wattpad, but not the first story I've ever written. I really hope you all enjoy the story. I've been wanting to write this for a couple weeks now, but I was too nervous. My friend today convinced me to post finally.

This chapter was just opening up the story. The next couple chapters will also be just opening up the book.

Please enjoy and leave me feedback!
