The Day They Met

Imagine for Holly

One day Holly was walking her dog Bailey with her best friend Amber. They had already been walking for an hour and were starting to get tired, so they decided to walk to the cafe a block away. While on their way they ran into a lovely boy named Zayn. The boy seemed nice and was really easy to chat with so Amber invited Zayn to join them at the cafe.

Once they arrived they each ordered a hot chocolate, because of the cold weather. Bailey sat by Holly's legs snuggling for warmth. Zayn, Holly and Amber all sat in a booth seat. The three chatted for what seemed like hours until Zayn said that he had to leave. He also said that he was having a BBQ with his friends tomorrow and that we should come. He wrote down his address on a piece of paper and gave it to Amber so that they would know where to go. After they split ways, Holly and Amber went back to Holly's house to pick out outfits for the next day.

-At Zayn's house-

As Holly and Amber walked the driveway towards a very pretty house, Zayn came bounding out of the house to greet the two.

"Hey" Zayn smiled.

"Hi" the girls both replied.

"Come in, I want you guys to meet someone" He said as he lead Holly and Amber through the house and out into the backyard. There was quite a lot of people Amber thought as the two girls followed Zayn through the crowded space. He stopped next to a boy with blonde hair, his back was facing the pair and he was happily chatting with the two young men standing near him.  Zayn tapped him on the shoulder and he spun around to greet whoever was trying to get his attention.

"Oh, Hey Zayn, how are ya bud?" Niall said clapping his mate on the back.

"I'm good, I've brought someone for you to meet" Zayn said motioning towards the girls standing next to him. He looked at the girls and gave a brilliant smile.

"Hi I'm Holly" Holly shook Niall's hand.

"Hi I'm Niall" He replied.

"Niall?" Holly asked recognizing the name.

"Oh my god, Holly?" he asked back, looking shocked that she actually remembered him.

"Wow, I haven't seen you in ages" Holly replied, looking over to her best friend Amber, who hadn't been introduced yet.

"I know almost 7 years, who's your friend?" He asked looking over to the girl standing next to Holly.

"Oh right, this is Amber" she said pushing Amber towards Niall because she was always shy when it came to meeting new people.

They shook hands as well, before turned his attention back to Holly.

"You mind if i steal your friend for a minute?" Niall asked Amber.

"Sure" she replied before walking off with Zayn.

Naill and Holly went into the house to find somewhere they could talk more privately.

"So how have you been?" Niall asked his reunited best friend.

"I've been great actually, what about you?" Holly replied.

"Yeah I've been great too, i can't believe we actually got to meet again after 7 years" Niall said amazed at how long it had been. Niall would never admit this to Holly, but he still has a crush on her from 7 years ago.

"Yeah it's been to long, you've changed a lot" Niall said looking at Holly. Holly blushed due to the fact that she actually had a crush on Niall from when they were kids 7 years ago. She would never tell Niall this of course.

"Yeah so have you" Holly replied to Niall statment.

The pair laughed and joked until it was starting to get late and Amber had returned to the house to find Holly to go home. Niall and Holly exchanged numbers and promised to keep in contact with each other.

The two girls said goodbye before going home. Holly couln't stop thinking about how much she had missed Niall in those 7 years they had been apart. missed Niall in those 7 years they had been apart.

About a week later Holly and Niall meet up at the cafe that she had been to with Zayn the week before. This was when they first accidentally started to show their feelings towards each other. Holly had just walked through the door and Niall immediately stood up to greet her. Niall accidentally blurted out what he was thinking. Instead of saying 'hi' he said 'that you look really hot'. Holly looked confused and said a 'what?' but Niall just replied with nothing. Holly had heard what he had said and replied with the what out of shock.

The second time it happened Holly and Niall had been walking to the park when Holly was day dreaming and said that she really loved Niall's hair. Niall had laughed it off thinking she wasn't being serious, but then it dawned on him that she actually meant it, and that touched his heart.

About a month after that, Niall had finally mustered up the courage to ask Holly out on a date. Holly smiled and replied with a 'yes'. A couple of dates later Niall asked Holly to be his girlfriend and of course she replied with

They had fallen in love.
