"What's dressed in white
Flies higher than the sky
And protects me like a guardian angel?
You"
Arriving at Aki's house we park the bike and knock on the front door.
"IT'S OPEN!" We hear from inside, Aki shakes his head and opens the door and we both huddle in, taking our shoes off along the way.
"Is dad home?" Aki says to his mom.
"Why don't you come look for yourself." His mom responds, bypassing Aki and giving me a hug, I giggle and hug her back. "You're so cute, how could anyone leave you?" She says in a light but serious tone.
"Mommmmmm, stop being embarrassing." Aki whines, walking into the living room.
"How am I being embarrassing? You're just sad I don't hug you like that anymore, be a big boy." His mom retorts as we follow Aki to the living room. As we enter the living room I see a middle aged man, presumably his dad, sitting on the couch watching the television.
"So, you are home. Why didn't you come greet us?" Aki says plopping down next to his dad
"Too lazy." His dad says, his voice sounds just like Aki's, but deeper.
"We have a guest though, he's going to think you're a rude old fart."
"Oh." His dad turns away from the TV and looks at me, then his wife, then back at me. "Honey... why is there a kid in our house."
"Isao sweetie, stop acting childish. His name is Seiichi, he's going to be staying with us for a few days... or weeks."
"ENI! Why do you never talk to me about anything?" He says, standing up.
"Doesn't matter, it's already official." Eni walks over to him and gives him a kiss on the cheek
"D-Don't try to buy your love with kisses, I'm mad at you." Isao says blushing. So that's where Aki gets his insane blushing. He's the perfect fusion of his mom and dad, you can tell he's their kid.
"Isao Hikaru, nice to have you here." Isao says walking to me and bowing slightly which I return.
"Well... since that's over we're going to go head up stairs, we might get old hanging around you guys." Aki says running out the living room grabbing my arm as he passes.
"ARE YOU CALLING ME OLD!" His mom yells from the living room, as we run up the stairs to Aki's room.
"I DON'T HAVE TO CALL YOU OLD IT'S ALREADY A FACT." Aki screams slamming his door, he's laughing hysterically and I start laughing with him. We are on the floor laughing, hiccups in our voice as we calm down, wiping tears from our eyes. I turn my head and make eye contact with Aki, our faces inches apart. I can feel the warmth of his breath against my lips, I can hear his erratic heartbeat against his chest. His eyelashes are long and fall delicately on his sculpted face. Aki continues to stare at me and we never break eye contact. Not yet. Don't kiss him yet. Keep him waiting. I swallow a lump in my throat and get on top of Aki.
"W-What ARE AHAHAAHA SEIICHI STOP!" Aki starts wiggling around as I tickle the sides of his stomach, his face a tomato red as I relentlessly attack him. "O-OH my GOD HAHA I C-CAN'T BREATH." Aki says laughing now trying to push me off him which gives me access to his armpits, where I find he's more ticklish.
"Never knew- you were so ticklish." I said cackling, trying to not fall off of him.
"GOTCHA." Aki says flipping us over so he's now on top, I prepare myself for the attack but it doesn't come. Opening my eyes I stare up at Aki and that lump in my throat returns. We stay like this for what feels like hours. Aki's bends closer until we're only centimeters apart, my lips tremble slightly, and I close my eyes.
