Chapter 5

The beaming lights faded away, the crowd started to get louder, as the boys walked off on stage.

"Holy fucking shit, Leah." Ree wiped tears away from her eyes, "They're so fucking beautiful."

As soon as the lights went on, the crowd headed for the exit, "I literally cannot feel my legs. Ashton made them numb. Help," Ree continued. A giggle escaped my lips as she continued to ramble on how great the concert was.

Obviously, Ree had quite the night. It was a night that definitely did not go to waste. She saw four guys that she looked up to, and drooled over, for years. And now, she finally saw them perform.

As for me, I had fun. I mean, sure I see them as an inspiration, but I don't see them like Ree sees them. I just see them as 4 normal dudes.

Sure they're stories are inspiring, but it's not like their life stories will make me love them and make my wallet empty for them. That's just crazy.

Plus, if I am a die-hard fan of theirs, it'll make my job a complete hell. It'd be way harder, and the boys will probably think I'm mental, which will lessen my chances of being closer to them.

"Hello? Earth to Leah," Ree quickly snapped my thoughts away, "how was it?"

"Huh? How was what?" I opened the passenger side of the car and hopped in, "How was the plan?" She ignited that car, and put on her seat belt.

I shrugged my shoulders, "it went well. I mean, they think I'm pretty cool, I'm just worried that nothing else will happen."

Ree sighed as she focused on the road, "look, whatever happens, I'm sure Blake will understand. Your task is pretty impossible to do."

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. Blake is Blake. Of course he's not gonna understand, if anything he'll find a way to make his plans work and put me--again-- to work on it; however, no matter how much I despise him, and his offers, I really needed them.

"Look Leah, maybe we can meet with him tomorrow and talk things out?"

Ha. Talk things out? With Blake? Are you serious?

"Yeah. Totally. Because last time someone talked things out with Blake, someone totally did not get fired. And I'm so ready to be in that position," I said sarcastically. Ree rolled her eyes as we entered our hotel room, "maybe there's another way."

I threw my bag on the freshly covered bed, "how long will the boys be in Cali? They have a break after our show right?"

Ree nodded, "they're on break for two weeks, but before we can get our hopes up, what are the chances of seeing them in public?"

I groaned in frustration, "I don't know, we'll hunt them down or something." I paced back and forth.

"Really? Hunt them down? They're not animals."

"Shut up. I'm panicking okay?" I sighed, "All I'm saying is I'm willing to do anything before we can talk it out with Blake."
