"Lucy, you promised to do this one crazy thing with me!" Lucy's best friend, Emma, shouted.
Lucy looked down the staircase at her, "You said that about the last thing we did, and if I remember correctly, we got arrested for that!"
Emma looks up smugly, "This is different! No surprise streaking through town this time! I promise! We're just going to be following a band around on their world tour!" She exclaims happily.
Lucy groans, "Please don't tell me it's that one band, Fallout Boys or whatever."
Emma scoffs in disgust, "It's Fall Out Boy and yes, it happens to be them. Come on Lu, you promised..." She slowly climbs the stairs with a puppy dog face.
"How are we even going to pay for this, Em?"
"Simple," Emma responds, immediately perking up, "You pitch in half and I'll pitch in half."
Lucy hesitates, biting her lip, "I don't know... I don't even like this band. Why should I follow them around?"
"Lu, you need to get out of this town. It is sucking the life out of you! I know your break up with Brent was bad but maybe it's time to move on."
"So that's your plan? I follow this band around the world and hope I find love out of it? Emma, love doesn't work like that!" Lucy turns around and stomps into her room.
"That's not what I meant, Lu, and you know it. I just meant maybe you'll find a guy who can make you forget about Brent." Emma sits on Lucy's bed and absentmindedly plays with the strings on her hoodie.
Lucy contemplates for a moment, 'Maybe I should go, it might be healthy to get out of this house.'
"Okay, Em, I'll go with you. But I have one condition."
Emma bounds off the bed, "Anything! I knew you would come around!"
"Don't try to set me up with every guy you see. If love is supposed to happen, it will happen. Deal?" Lucy holds out her hand waiting for Emma to shake it.
"Like serendipity? That's so romantic! Of course I'll make a deal for that!" Emma shakes Lucy's hand.
"Guess I better start packing. Where's the first concert at?"
"Phoenix, so you better pack for heat!" Emma shouts back as she rushes out the door.

"Hey, Patrick, wake up!" Andy shouts at his band mate, "We're going to be late! We have to rehearse for the performance in two hours."
"Alright, alright I'm up," Patrick responds while slowly getting out of his bunk. "I think I'm going to eat some cereal first though."
Joe pokes his head down from his bunk, "Sorry, we don't have any milk left."
Patrick groans, "Fine, I'll go to the store and be back in no time! I promise."
As Patrick gets ready to go to the store he's startled by Pete coming through the door.
"Oh hey, thought you would be gone already," Pete says as he leans against the wall.
"No I was just thinking, it's great to be on tour again you know?"
"Yeah, man, I know exactly what you mean. Hey can you pick us up some water? I think the fridge is out."
"Sure, Pete, no problem." Patrick smiles up at him.
"Thanks, Patrick," Pete says as he walks by, clapping him on the shoulder.
Patrick grabs his phone and heads out the door. He smiles when he steps outside, seeing how sunny it is. 'Of course it's sunny, this is Phoenix' he thinks to himself.
