Chapter 7

[Blake~]

I'm surrounded with morons.

Jake keeps bugging me. I pulled my arm off his grasp and he pouted. He's still annoying.

"Stop it."

He only grabbed my arm again, tugging me. "It'll be fun!"

"No."

"YES!"

"No."

"Stop it, the both of you." Mika reprimanded, but it mostly aimed at Jake. His face looked cute with that annoying pout, as he crossed his arms. His eyes searched for an ally, and it stopped at Yui. Offcourse, his most close one among the three.

It's weird how my annoying little brother would be close with Miss. Yaoi weirdo. But then again, his friends are all weird, Alex and Kai included. And I'm apparently related to him.

"Where's Riz?" I asked, looking over them. Alex said the group was here, but Riz was nowhere to be found, and so is Alex.

"Well kai?" I tapped my foot, impatient already. I only came all the way here because I needed to talk to Riz. Like I said, she's the only tamed one among the friends of my brother. Mika is alright, but she can get crazy, and Yui..

"Yui-chaaaan~" Jake whined, hugging her arm. If I'm not mistaken a slight blush has dusted her cheeks. She shyly looked away. I rose an eyebrow, what's that about?

"Weren't they here a minute ago?" Mika said.

I sighed, taking out my phone. Dialing Alex's number, it started ringing but he rejected the call.

"That ass."

"Hey." Kai warned, and I smirked back.

"Guys!" Alex shouted, waving at us. I turned behind, and I saw Alex jogging towards us, with Riz beside him. She looks different.

Did she put on makeup? And is that a skirt?

"What's with the look?" I immediately teased her, once they've stopped near us. She blushed, looking away.

I marched up to her, holding her chin to look at me. "Riz. What's wrong?" Suddenly I'm worried, she's really acting weird. "What happened?"

She couldn't look into my eyes, and her lips were trembling. She looks nervous actually.

"Uh, we're going to be waiting .. somewhere." Alex announced and everyone gave him weird looks. He silently mouthed something to them since I didn't hear anything. I was too focused on Riz. But before I knew it, we were alone. Just the two of us, standing in the middle of the pathway. Good thing there isn't that much people. I couldn't care less.

"Riz?" I softly asked this time.

Ever so slowly her eyes dared to look back at mines. And for the first time, I couldn't comprehend the emotion behind it. She would always tell me what's up, but this time She isn't and I'm not used to it.

"I.. I have to tell you something." Her voice was low.

Letting go of her face, I put my hands in my pockets, "What is it then?"

She cleared her throat and reached into her bag. A handbag. This is freaking me out, she looks so feminine. I never noticed how cute she looks in female attire. I know she's cute, but this style suits her more.

"You look cute."

Her head shot up to me in surprised, eyes widening.

I smiled at her, and she bowed her head with an envelope at hand.
