I looked at the billions upon billions of wands that are waiting for the right owner. I walked down the aisle and saw all the old wands that have been here since I was a kid, to the newer wands that were made this morning. I opened some to see their designs and I looked back and forth to see if nobody was coming. I grabbed the wand I had opened and hid it in the sleeve of my grey sweater. I smiled as I put the box back and I jogged out of the aisle. I soon walked up the three flights of stairs and opened the furthest door that laid down the hallway. I ran in and closed the door locking it. I smiled as I walked to my desk, with the floorboard creaking under my feet.

I sat down and took the key necklace off my neck and put the key that fit a slot in the top right drawer. I opened it to see an old beaten up notebook that was years old. I took it out and I opened to the first empty page. I turned on the light and picked up a quill, looking at the wand. I picked up the wand and carefully inspected it.

" A 12" wand with Quercus rober wood, or known as English Oak. The wand looks for someone who is strong, courageous and fidelity. The less well known characteristics for people to have English oak are ones with strong intuition. It was said that Merlin had this type of wood. " I jotted down and continued to look at the wand, I pointed it vertically to the light and smiled.

"Core; Unicorn Hair. I think it is one of the most common types of wands." I smiled as I turned off the light and put my book back with locking the drawer. I stood up and quietly walked downstairs as I looked for the familiar box and once I found it, I put it back in the box.

"Kendra, will you come here for a second?" I quickly shoved the box among the other wands and I walked to the front area of the shop.

"Yes father?" I brushed my long black skirt and made my way to the counter.

"You still have to buy your school supplies, yes?"

"I do." He smiled as he took out some galleons, knuts and sickles. I was shocked by the amount he gave me.

"Father! This is a lot of money, you need some." He laughed and pushed my hands away so I could not hand them to him.

"Then go buy something nice, oh and please buy something for Wilfred when you are out there. You know how he will complain if you made a trip without getting something. Please be careful and safe." I nodded and thought about what my little brother would like.

"I will be."

I walked to Flourish and Blotts and to my surprise there was a huge crowd in the store. I slowly squeezed my way through the giant crowd filled with all different ages of students to adults. I managed to peek through to shoulders to see a what is causing the big crowd. I saw Gilderoy Lockhart with Harry Potter. I frowned to look at the abnormally skinny kid, who obviously did not enjoy his time up there. I soon squeezed through to get hands on my books, which were very expensive. About 2 galleons each plus a sickle for each book and I had to buy 7 of those bloody books.

"Bloody hell.." I cursed underneath my breath.

"You can say-"

"That again." I quickly turned around to see the infamous pair of twins.

"Blimey! Never scare me like that again!" They looked to each other and shrugged.

"So you are a fourth year?"

"Fred, she was in some of our classes last year!" Fred looked as if he was in deep thought and then snapped his fingers.

"Ah, now I remember!" I smiled a little and nodded.

"I was the person in potions that you made my potion explode on me." The twins started to laugh at my not amused face.

"Yes and it got ever where thank you very much! I had detention with Snape! You know how dreadful that was?!"

"Yes-"

"We do in fact."

" We have had about....39 detentions with him." I looked at them shocked.

"Blimey, and your mother is okay with that?" The twins laughed.

"No she is not."

"She becomes mental, isn't that right George?"

" Yes it is Fred."

"By the way, I do not think we have ever caught your name."

"Ollivander, Kendra Ollivander." They both took my hand and profusely shook it.

" Nice to meet you Ollivander. I am Fred."

"And I am George." They smiled largely.

"Nice to meet you Fred and George." They smiled and we were cut off one a woman started to yell over the crowd.

"Fred, George we are leaving!" They looked over and then looked back at me.

"Nice to meet you Ollivander-"

"But we must really be going!" I waved to them and watched them leave as I paid for my books. They were an odd pair, I will tell you that much.

I quickly walked back to the shop and saw my little brother, who was sitting on the chair in the corner, staring at the wands.

"Can I please hold one?" My father sighed.

"No, you are too young." Wilferd groaned as he sunk lower in his chair.

"But I am going to be eleven soon, and I will become a wizard!" I laughed a little and patted my brother's hair, for which he pouts.

"If you become one." Wilferd jumps up at the sound of my voice.

"Hey! That is not true! I will become one, just you wait!" I just nodded my head and I kissed him on the cheek.

"Anything new?" I shook my head to answer my father's question.

"No, not really. I just got my books. Oh and Wilferd please come here." Wilferd came over.

"Here, I got you a wand." Wilferd jumped up with excitement and started to squeal.

"Yes! Finally, I am a Wizard! Can I have my wand now!" He cheered, I smiled and took it out of the box.

"Here you go, a licorice wand."

"Aww..." I smiled at his disappointment.
