Alpha Babies (book two)

Chapter 3

The next morning when I woke up I got dressed and headed down to the office for a meeting about a pack closing in on our territory. When I opened my bedroom door there was a note taped to my bedroom door I pulled it down and unfolded it.

Victoria,

I'm sorry I was such a dick about the baby I still wish you had waited but i love you so I'm going to support you through this. come see me after your meeting.

When I finished reading  the note i turned back into the room smiling i left it on my bed and continued on my way to meet with Sebastian and the guys planning to call my brother as soon as we were done. when i got down to the office everyone was already there.

"alright so last night we received a phone call from a neighboring pack that they have been receiving threats from the dark moon pack" Kris said as we all sat down. straight to business thats just how he is.

"what kind of threats?" i asked 

"they have been finding dead pack members left scattered on the boarder of their territory and a note was delivered stating that the murders would continue until the alpha relinquishes control of his pack and territory." he replied

"how many members have they lost so far?"

"eight" Damian said looking up from one of the files laid out in front of us.

"alright set up a meeting with the alpha for tomorrow morning we can work out a plan to protect the packs and put a few more guys out on our patrols...is there anything else we need to deal with right now?" i stood from my chair getting ready to leave.

"alright ill take care of it and let you know what they say. i believe thats everything that needs to be done right this second." Kris answered.

"alright well ill see y'all later then."

Sebastian came to stand next to me .

"where are you going?" he asked 

"im gonna go find my brother."

"oh...okay"

"ill come back after i talk to him I'm sure y'all can handle whatever needs to be taken care of with out me for a while."

"yea we will be fine go find Sean" he leaned down and kissed me and i left the office headed down the hall to find Sean.

when i finally found my brother he was sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee and staring intently at the screen of his laptop. i walked over  sat next to him and took the coffee cup out of his hand.

"oh hell no what do you think you're doing?" Sean asked taking the cup out of my hand before i could even take a sip. " caffeine is bad for the baby no more coffee for you"

"what! no i need coffee how am i supposed to live coffeeless"

"calm down you can have coffee...its just gotta be decaf"

"whats the point if its decaf!"

"okay your coffee addiction is not what we came here to discuss just accept it and move on."

"fine...i believe you have some apologizing to do"

he sighed and looked down into the coffee cup in  his hands. "yes i do...listen Vic I'm sorry i reacted the way i did its just you're  my little sister you're not supposed to have a kid you're only 16 but i have come to terms with the fact that this is something thats going to happen its common in our world and i know that i just have a hard time accepting that you are an adult now. I'm sure you will be a fantastic mother and i can't wait to meet my new niece or nephew."

"i know its a lot to handle but its happening so we have to get our shit together and be ready and I'm glad you have finally gotten on board with this because its happening whether any of us like it or not...i'm honestly terrified like i don't think i can do this "

he laughed and hugged me "you will be an amazing mother Vic you already baby the life out of Damian you can just transfer those skills to the new baby. besides its like in your DNA to take care of everyone around you you are a luna after all."

"i really hope you're right Seanie...I only have a few months to get my shit together before i have a tiny person i have to keep alive...I have to go back to Sebastian I left them all alone in the office and I'm sure they have gotten zero work done since i left i really don't know how they kept this pack running with out me they are the most unfocused morons i have ever met they are all so lucky i love them as much as i do."

"go, make sure they don't get us all killed with their stupidity." he laughed.

i got up hugged him and went back to the office to find them doing absolutely zero work. Sebastian was at the computer scrolling through twitter, Kris was laying back in his chair throwing a football and Damian was passed out on the couch in the corner. i slammed the door all the way open making the pictures hanging around the room shake as the handle slammed into the wall behind it. 

"what the hell are y'all doing up here i thought you had work to do have you done anything since i have been gone?!?" Sebastian and Kris stopped what they were doing and immediately started gathering their things and started working Damien however continued snoring in the corner.

"we were just taking a break i swear" Sebastian said.

"fine. get back to work ill deal with him." i said pointing at the sleeping moron in the corner. i walked over to the couch and kneeled down next to him.

"damien sweetie you gotta get up we have work to do." i said gently shaking him hoping he would wake up.

"jesus Tor you really can't keep this up you gotta stop babying the kid." Kris said looking up from the paperwork in front of him.

"listen my babying him has nothing to do with you okay...ill get him up." i turned back to Damien  and screamed in his ear. "DAMIEN WAKE YOUR ASS UP WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS SHIT!!!"

He jumped up and fell off the couch. 

"jesus christ sweetie get ur ass up and get to work i really don't have time for your bullshit right now. I'm going to get y'all some lunch please try to actually accomplish something while I'm gone."

hey guys i know i totally suck this chapter has been in the works for like a billion years things are just super crazy right now but its finally done and i promise to try my best to update my frequently but i cant promise when the next chapter will be done i can however promise it won't take nearly as long as this one did. i hope y'all like it I'm gonna start working on chapter four right away.
