CHAPTER 15

"Bro, di ba siya yung stalker mo?" tanong ni Raven.

I sighed.

"Grabe. Iba na yan" naiiling pa na sabi nito. "Hanggang dito talaga kaya ka niyang sundan"

Hindi na lang ako umimik. I should have think of effective ways to get rid of her. But I wouldn't let anyone involved of this, especially my parents. Mom would be furious.

"Miss Ashley Ricaport? How are you related to Dean Enrique?" tanong ng prof namin.

"He's my father" sagot nito.

Raven elbowed me "She has connection. No wonder" he whispered.

I shook my head and my lips pursed into thin line. If her father's working here, why she had just trasfered now? She should have been enrolled here since first year. That tells something else.

"Anong gagawin ko ngayon?" tanong ni Raven pagkalabas namin ng classroom.

"Excited ka?" I asked.

He gave me a toothy smile which I find gross. "Hell yeah. Makikita ko si Yanna e" he then said.

I shook my head and grinned. He's already head over heels with my cousin ha. I stopped when I saw the two girls heading our way.

"Wait" pigil ko kay Raven.

He frowned but when he looked at the direction im looking for, he abruptly stopped and smiled.

"Spill" sabi nito.

"Invite her for a cup of coffee. Bahala ka na sa diskarte. Just invite her. I know she'll refuse but Yanna won't. For sure nagtataka na yun sayo and she starts investigating"

"Alright! Saan ka naman?"

"I'll just stay inside my car" I said and immediately walked fast away from him before Pam and Yanna could see me.

Hinintay ko si Raven. Knowing Pamela, she wouldn't hesitate to say no. Im talking with my experience. At hindi naman nagtagal ng makita ko si Raven na papalapit sa kotse ko.

"She said no" sabi agad nito pagkasakay sa passenger's seat.

I revved the car then stopped in front of the coffee shop near the University.

"I said she said no. Bakit nandito tayo?" tanong ni Raven.

"I'll wait here. Magkape ka lang sa loob and wait for Yanna" I said.

Hindi na siya ulit nagtanong pa at bumaba na ng kotse. I smiled when a familiar car parked beside mine. I knew it. Im damn right they'll follow. Im good at observing people, at kahit hindi kami close ni Yanna, kilala ko na siya because we literally grew up together.

My phone beeped.

How'd you know?

I chuckled and just closed his message. I've waited for like fifteen minutes inside my car before I saw Pam and Yanna exiting the cofeeshop. I saw Pam looking at my direction but I knew better, she's eyeing my car. Good thing it's not the twin of her car. Thanks to the generosity if my Mom.

"I felt so loner there but at least I saw Yanna. Thanks bro!" sabi ni Raven pagkapasok sa kotse ko.

"Good morning" bati sakin ng ibang blockmates ko.

I just nod at them and sat at the back.

"Good morning Trystan" I frowned when the creepy Ashley greeted me.

She has the guts now ha.

Raven nudged my shoulder when I ignored her. But I glared at him. The girl stood still in front of me. The creased on my forehead deepened as I tilted my head and looked at her "Need anything?" I asked nonchalantly.
She bit her lips and shook her head furiously. She looked innocent and naive but appearances are deceptive. She quickly sat on the seat in front of me with her back facing me. I sighed.

"That's so mean" Raven commented.

"Kamusta?" I asked, ignoring his statement.

He scrunched his nose and looked distasteful like he doesn't even want to tell me what had happen to him after meeting Yanna and Pam.

"I cursed myself for doing that. Pero mas mukhang si Pam yung nagalit sakin for demeaning Yanna which I didn't want to. Damn you bro. If she will totally gonna hate me for that we'll be best friend's over" he said dramatically.

I shook my head in distasted. "So gay"

"Bro, I've been loving you for a long time now, you'd just noticed?" he asked with his puppy eyes.

"Gross" I said.

"Ouch! You just hurt my feelings!" he huffed which earns glances from every direction.

I shook my head and patted his shoulder then ignored him. I could still sensed the stares but I shrugged it off. If any way they'd took Raven's joke seriously. I'd rather be happy. We've been pulling this off before but no one took the bait. We were that desperate to push all the girls who threw their selves literally and figuratively to us before but in the end, we're the one who gave up. Dahil imbis na layuan kami, lalo pa silang lumapit samin and they're creepily determined to make us become straight guys. Kaya hindi na, I've learned from my mistake.

"Damn. I think, I still have trauma pretending to be a gay" sabi ni Raven when his laughed subsided.

I cocked my head "No. I think you've missed it kaya mo ginawa"

He gasped. See? So gay.

"Im vert straight as capital I. I just want to make a show because im a quiet comedian"

I don't get it. Tss.

Mom called and told me that Tita Brenda will come in my condo. Ang sabi, isasama daw ako para sukatan dahil gagawin daw akong model for her daughter's new clothing line. But no way in hell I would agree on that. Kaya naman I decided to just stay here in the library and read books rather than meet her. Whilst Raven has his own life.

I was so engrossed with this sci-fi book and didn't noticed na ako na lang pala ang tao dito at yung librarian. Pero okay lang. Hindi pa rin ako aalis dito. No one would think I was staying here. Then suddenly, I heard foot steps but I ignored it, until I felt my nape ached that I had to move it to prevent having stiffed neck.

I looked at the girl acrossed my table. My first reaction was ofcourse, shocked. But after then the corners of my lips lifted. Hindi na ko nagdalawang isip na lumapit at maupo sa tapat niya. What for? We knew each other and I miss teasing her very much.

She's too occupied to noticed me so I just propped my elbows on the table and rested my chin on my palm and stared at her. I damn miss her.

"Problema mo?" tanong niya habang binibigyan ako ng masamang tingin.

Damn I missed those glaring eyes too!

"Long time no see.. Kikay" I said and smirked.

Hide and seek is finally over. Damn over.
