Adrenaline is one of the craziest drugs. He never slept through the night without seeing the shaddow of his past. That shaddow that ruined everything, everything he owned, everything he persued and everything he could be as a human being. She always seemed to be his clarity. The thing was, she hadn't yet dicsovered the place she had in his broken heart.
Aminah's POV
I saw him everyday in the same exact spot. In the parking lot, smoking a cigarette, while leaning back on his jet black motorcycle. Every time that last bell rang, he was there. Funny thing is: his girlfriend, Cassandra, and I, shared the same class. She always liked to flaunt about their active sex life and would always make sure to talk louder than needed. Hearing all those details i'd be lying if I said I didn't envy her. I didn't know his name yet but I did know that every time we locked eyes and I would turn away, his stare would linger upon me for a few more seconds.Today was the last day of my first year of college. Normaly, I would have to go back home and pack for my family's yearly summer trip. However, this summer was special. My parents finally gave me the permission to decide for myself if I wanted to go or not. College had really tired me out so I decided to sit this one out.
So here I am now, trying to figure out how to get home, since my parents are long gone. I was just starting to accept the fact that I would have to take on that dreadful 2 hour walk when I heard someone clear their throat.
— Are you waiting for someone?, someone huskily said in my ear.
I somehow knew it was him. I whipped around in surprise.
— Who me? Uhm... No I was just about to walk home.
— The closest neighboorhood is like 2 hours away, why don't you hop on, I'll give you a ride. It will only take 30 minutes.
— I don't think that thing can fit 2 people, I'll just walk.
— Alright, have a fun time walking i guess...
He turned around and started walking back to hid bike. I stood there weighing out my options and decided to just go for it.
— Wait! I think I'll take you up on that offer...A/N
