Chapter 1: welcome to her high school
I sat in my Mathis class waiting for the bell to go, five more minutes and I was free to go to lunch. I looked around the classroom observing what everyone was doing, the jocks were siting in the back laughing at their own private jocks, people were texting, others were passing notes and then there was the very few people who were actually paying attention to what the teacher had to say
Suddenly my phone buzzed and I quickly grabbed it out of my pocket to read the text.
Hey Nickii
I'm bored and my geography teacher is annoying and going on about global warming soooo what's up guurl

Same really bored, did you hear Riley is pregnant :o

You say that every year Hun I don't think she is
Emma xoxo
I think she is you can't sleep with a billion guys and not be pregnant by now I think she's going to be on the next teen mom

"Naughty, naughty Nickii your not supposed to be texting in class" I turned to Jason who had just said that.
"Oh shut up your always texting Emma cause your in loooooove with her" I said making a kissy faces.
He quickly grabbed the phone off me and started texting his girlfriend when he was interrupted by the bell. I quickly jumped out of my seat, took my phone back and went to my locker. I started putting my books back in my locker when Emma and Sarah popped up beside me.
"hey girlie look at your so called future husband is standing just a few feet away" Sarah said.
"Be quite he doesn't even know my name and when did I say he was my future husband" I said closing my locker and walking with them to lunch " You just did" Sarah said laughing.
I got my food and sat down at my table sitting opposite me was Blake, Sarah, Darren and Emma sitting on Jason's knee. I zoned out of the conversation they were having about there class's they had just been in.
" Looks like trouble in paradise" Darren said nodding toward Amber and Derek are high schools it couple. I turned around to see what was happening and they we're having what looked like a screaming match, suddenly Amber took some sort of ring off her finger slammed it on the table and stormed out of the cafeteria, Derek then grabbed the ring and I swear I saw a tear in hisq eye and the stormed out of the cafeteria as well followed by Zach.
" OMG were they engaged" Sarah said shocked.
"No I'm pretty sure that was a promise ring he gave it to her last year" I said " I wonder what happened they always seemed so perfect"
"Ye well a lot happened behind closed doors" Darren muttered.
" Anyway on a happier note are we all going to Monica's party on Friday after the game" Blake asked excitedly.
" Hell yea" we all screamed.
School was finally over and I walked intop the sports hall for volleyball practise. I loved volleyball I had been playing it since I was seven and Los Angeles had the perfect weather for it. As I walked in a girl called Haley on my team walked up to me and the rest of the team followed her. That's when I noticed the cheer leading team was also in here.
"Nickii, the cheer leading team are in here and won't leave they claim they've always practised here" Haley said.
" What?! No they always practise outside near the football team"
" yea we've said that but they won't leave can you go talk to them maybe they'll listen to you"
" Ughh why me" I whinnied. " Because you're the captain now get your pretty little butt over there and tell them to leave."
As soon as I walked over to Amber I completely understood why they wanted to practise inside today because outside the football team was practising which Derek was a part of and she didn't want him to see her like this. She had big red eyes and you could tell she had been crying.
"Look I understand why you're here and I guess just this once you can practise here but don't make a habit out of it we have a. It competition in a few weeks and we need all the practise we can get so just this once ok" Amber gave me a small smile and wrapped me into a hug " Thank Nickii I knew you'd understand I promise just this once" I smiled back and turned back to my team.
I told them that we would be running on the track today to keep fit and they let out a groan but soon picked up their water bottles and started walking outside .
