Monster?

Chapter 2~ What are you?

"grr...my name...it's...Mika" she took a sip of coffee "Mika eh? that's a cute name." He exclaimed to her "My name isn't cute you idiot!" He laughed but stopped himself from doing anything to make her too mad not wanting to feel the wrath of her hand hitting his face.

Again..

 "Now...what's your name then? i told you mine" she smirked "haha.. it's Kazuki" She laughed slightly then looked down at her cup, noticing that she had finished the drink. She handed the empty coffee cup back to Kazuki who looked liked he was deep in thought. 

"Mika?..you've heard of the recent monster attacks right? So.. what do you think about them?" She froze up slightly looking a bit nervous "I don't know.. i guess there are good ones and some bad ones" He smiled at her "Are you afraid of them?" "kinda but.. i can protect myself" "really? Even so i'll protect you from the bad ones and.. a normal human would have said that all of them are bad. Mika.. you're a monster aren't you?" Her eyes widened slightly in shock "w..wha... yeah...but please don't tell the military! i don't want to be killed by them!" she said while shaking in fear. He laughed at her. "Don't worry i am a monster too, princess" His left eye would then turn a shade of red and he grinned at her. "You have nothing to fear with me" He patted her head gently and looked at her, his eyes brightening up with an idea. "hey, wanna go somewhere? I know you'll like it" She tilted her head to the side and nodded. 

He smirked, cleaned up then picked Mika up bridal style, took her outside realising it was now night, the moon shining brightly above them. He jumped up onto the buildings, the wind hitting their faces. She yelped in surprise while he just laughed and continued jumping on the buildings, avoiding the gaze of the people walking through the streets. "Cover your eyes, Princess" he smirked while running. She nodded in reply and covered her eyes with one hand. Having reached their destination he told her to look and when she opened her eyes she was speachless. They were standing ontop of a mountain peak. They had a perfect view of the city lights which shone against the darkness. "I used to come here all the time with my dad...but... he got taken away while i was still a kid." He said with a sad tone in his voice. "Oh.. i'm sorry.. do you know what happened to him?" She asked, being careful of her words "no.. i don't..he's probably dead by now.." "he could still be alive!!" She protested against him "i doubt it.. but it's possible" he replied. He sighed as the cool breeze hit their faces. "I should be getting back to my house" she smiled and turned to jump back down the mountain but an arm stopped her "Will we see eachother again princess?" "Don't call me princess!! And.. maybe.. you'll just have to find me "she giggled and jumped down the mountain.
