CHAPTER ONE

I woke up to the annoying beep of my white digital alarm. I rolled over to turn it off, i was going to go back to sleep till I realized what today was. First day of school. Shit. -.-

I rolled out out of bed I quickly hoped in the shower. Today was gonna be my fist day as a sophomore and I was determined to make this year better than last year. I got a complete make over during the summer. I got my braces off contacts and started straightening my hair. I was glad I had all my friends here to help me.

I got out of the shower an dried my hair it was really curly an frizzy. I grabbed my pink conair straightener an slowly started running it through my hair. I pulled on my brown floral dress an slipped on my light brown cowboy boots over the dress I put on a light bedazzled denim jacket that was sleeveless and stopped right under my boobs. I put on eye liner mascara and light pink eyeshadow.

"LOGAN ELIZABETH HURRY UP OR YOUR GONNA BE LATE." My father yelled to me. I lived with my dad my mom died when I was little so I relied in my dad for everything. He constantly works though and he goes on frequent business trips.

"I'm coming Im coming" I ran down stairs grabbed a bagel my back pack and ran out the door. "Love you dad" I yelled back at him while I was walking out.

I walked to the end of the road I waited for my bus there with one of my bestfriends Alliyah and her older brother Austin. Alliayhs gorgeous she has long dark brown hair she curled it with a wand most of the time so it fell down her back in these big ringlets. She has light green eyes and big pink lips. She was a little taller than me and she lived a few houses down from me.

"LOGAN GET YOUR ASS UP HERE!" She yelled at me I started walking slower because of that "oh quit being a smartass" she grinned. I ran up the rest of the road an leaped into her arms. As if we haven't seen each other In years.

"Y'all are a bunch of girls" Austin said while he rolled his eyes at us.

"Ohh really?" I said sarcastically. It usually was just me Alliyah and her brother who waited there but another kid started walking up to us. He was about as tall as me with swoopy light brown hair his eyes where hazel like mine and he had that whole mysterious badass look goin for him.

"Whose that" Alliyah whispered to me

"I don't know but he's really cute" I said to her

"Joseph bro what's up!" Austin said to him while doing some hand shake.

"Nothing man just got off probation." He answered with a grin.

"Probation for what!" Alliyah blurts out I nudged her to shut up Joseph noticed and smiled.

"Haha it's fine I got in trouble for assault an being caught with weed a couple times." I wasn't surprised about the weed part because Austin is a big pot head so most of his friends are too

"Assault?!" Alliyah shouted

"Shut up!" I said pushing her

He laughed "I didn't kill anybody I just got in a few fights"

"For what?" we asked In unison

"You know the usually people talking shit and trying to fuck with my friends."

"Yea he's one badass junior" Austin joined in

"A junior?!" Me an Alliyah said surprised

He started smiling "yes a junior"

"But your so short" Aliyah blurted. She has a bad habit Of saying things that first come to her mind. If it wasn't for me she probably would of got her ass kicked a couple of times last year.
