Michael

It was 1 am in the morning as I couldn't sleep in my tent. Chrissy was hurdled under the blankets on the other side of the tent. I didn't want to wake her because of my insomnia, so I just walked out to get some fresh air.

When I quickly shimmied out, I saw Luke sitting out by the ocean.

Alone.

What's he doing out? Looking all depressed and shiz. I walked over to him and plopped down by his side.

"Couldn't sleep?" I asked him. We've been best-friends since middle school, yet I haven't had any close conversations with him in a long time. Or moments with just the two of us like this for a while.

"Yeah. Just stuff going on in my mind." He said softly.

"Wanna talk about it?" I pressed. I looked over to his watery eyes and messy hair. I knew he had some issues, we all knew. But he never talks about it, and when we asked he would just shrug and not share his burdens.

I admire him for that, for keeping his problems only for himself to worry. But it can be overwhelming sometimes, I think he should let some shit out.

Wow I sound mature.

He just shrugged, as usual.

"I just want to go home as soon as possible." He finally said.

So he's homesick.

"We'll be home in 2 more weeks dude, hang in there." I said while patting his back.

"2 weeks seems so long though." He looked out into the ocean with cloudy eyes. I've never seen him this sad looking. I wanted to help, but I didn't know how.

"Who was the person you were singing about tonight?" I dared to ask. He looked down to his bare toes in the sand as he furrowed his brows.

"Someone special." Was all he said.

"I need to go back home, to see her. I miss her so much and I worry for her so much." He added with pain in every word.

Damn.

"I don't know who this girl is, bro. But whoever she is, I'm sure she'd be really happy to know how much you care about her. And if she cares about you the same way, I'm damn sure she doesn't want you being all sad about this. So be happy. For both of you. You'll see her, that's for sure. Just hang onto whatever moments you have left." I said.

Luke turned to me with gleaming eyes as tears ran down his cheek.

My brother was crying man.

I held my arms out and said, "Come to papa, princess."

Luke chuckled and came into my embrace.

I love this man so much.

After having a few chats about the old times, we both started yawning and went to sleep at 3am. Chrissy was snoring her head off when I returned to the tent. I whispered her goodnight before knocking out.

"How are y'all feeling tonight!" Ashton screamed to the crowd at our last show of the U.K. Tour. After this show, we'll be on our way homes first thing tomorrow morning. Chrissy will be coming along with me. I can't wait for her to see my room, see my family, my home town.

"Since this is our last show here, we wanted to say deep thankyou's to all of you for supporting us all the way." Ashton continued.

"Without you, we would never have today. You are what pushes us forward and we're thankful that you all listen to our music." Luke said.

"SO EMOTIONAL!" I screamed into the microphone.

It was emotional, really. I'm gonna miss playing shows for a while. It's the only talent I have. But I also can't wait to go home and just sleep in my room all day long. I plan on making me own room, a man cave.

"This next song, is a very special song." Calum announced.

"It's about a girl, named Amnesia."

And so I started to pluck my guitar.

I drove by all the places we used to hang out getting wasted...
