Bogs and the things they saw that night

Jace, Taxon and the Bog sit in a metal tent, it has two beds inside of it, and a small heater, casting warm glows throughout the metallic tent.

"This tent was designed to blend into its surroundings. No one can see or hear us." Taxon mumbles.

"What about the girls?" Jace asks.

"I gave Holly a run through before coming here, she knows everything about what her capsules can do." Taxon says.

The Bog scampers into Jace's lap and he begins to pet it.

"You're not going to keep it are you?" Taxon asks.

"Of course! He's the only thing I have to stand for my home planet. If I keep him with me, he'll be like Colas will always be with me." Jace smiles and Taxon breathes out a simple sigh.

"I miss being so young and carefree." Taxon speaks.

"You're three years older than me!" Jace complains.

"I've also been the leader of two different teams, this being my third." Taxon sighs.

Jace looks down, and stares at the Bog, "I've heard so many stories about you." He blurts.

"Oh?" Taxon asks.

"Like how you left your first tea to die in the middle of battle, while you saved your own life above your second team. I know their true." Jace finishes.

Taxon stands, and heads for the door.

"You know nothing. Almost like how you don't know that this mission changes everything, after tonight, I will become the new Sargent of "K" military and weak scum like Calista and you won't even be allowed in my dream. You'll be cast out to a garbage planet like this."

Jace stands up, the Bog stays on the floor, he looks up at the two.

"Colas isn't trash." He grits his teeth.

"You're right. It's just the people on it."

Taxon exits the tent and Jace follows, the Bog close behind.

"What are you planning on doing?" Jace asks, as Taxon begins to walk away, Jace follows, the Bog close behind.

"Damn it! Answer me!"
In a rush, Jace leaps forward, tackling Taxon to the ground, both boys stare at each other, face to face.

"What are you planning on doing?" Jace spits fire into Taxon's face.

Taxon forms a wicked smile and the sound of flesh being torn is sound.

Pushing Jace off of him, Taxon stands, Jace lies stomach up, bleeding from a direct hole through his stomach, blood bleeds from him everywhere.

"I'm going to finish what I should have with the first team. I'm going to kill Dawson."

Jace begins to crawl, blood trailing on the ground, The Bog whimpers beside him, sniffing his wound.

"Taxon!" Jace shrieks.

Holly and Calista are shown, they stand near a cave, shrieks coming from the inside.

"It has to be Sargent Dawson and Tommy." Holly mumbles.

"We need Taxon and Jace now!" Calista sighs.

"Check the map and find them! They can't be that far away; I'm heading in now." Holly disappears into the cave and Calista breathes in.

"Right." She whispers to herself, pressing on her armor, a map appears.

Taxon appears a bit closer than Jace, but still close together, and relatively close to Calista.

She takes off in a run, presses a button on her armor and she runs swiftly through the forest, before coming in front of Taxon.

"Taxon!" She breathes heavily, pressing a button on her armor. "Holly's found them! She needs Jace and you-." She peers behind him, "Where's Jace?"

An energy gun appears from a capsule and Taxon points it at Calista.

"Oh dear, I can't believe my third squad was killed by a bunch of deadly Bogs. I advised them against it but-well I was unconscious you see." He smiles and Calista reaches for her Capsule.

"I don't want to fight you. Just tell me where's Jace?" She stutters.

"Dead by now, probably. Now that I've answered that-where's Holly?"

From her armor covered hand, metallic chains shoot from her capsule, she thrusts it at Taxon and he dodges, firing a round of bullets, Calista blocks them with her chains.

"It'd be less painful if you gave up now." Taxon laughs.

"Jace!" Calista screams, tears gathering in her eyes, while her throat begins to burn.

Taxon shoots more bullets, and she blocks them with her chains again.

Calista breathes in and begins to think, 'I have no way of winning against him. He's way stronger. Maybe if Jace and Holly were here we would be even at least-I need to hold him off until I find Jace.'

"Watch out!"

From behind Taxon, a hoard of Bogs in their grown state march forward, Jace sits on the back of the Bog from before.

"Thanks to these guys, I'm fully healed. You should make sure their dead before you leave the scene." Jace giggles.

His Bog bows and Jace pats it head, "Let's Go-Cola."

Taxon backs up and begins firing his bullets at the Bog.

Cola walks forward, the bullets not affecting him, the Bogs behind him growl at Taxon as they pass.

"H-How?" He asks.

Cola stops and looks down at Taxon.

"Colas remember their own!" Jace shrieks, extending a hand out to Calista, she takes it and climbs on Cola with him and looks back at Taxon who is now being circles by all the Bogs, except Cola.

Taxon frowns, 'They think their slick? Good thing I have my aura.'

In a flash, the Bogs are pushes over and he presses a button on his armor and shoots forward, as the Bogs stand up, staring at each other they let out a piercing shriek.

Jace and Calista are shown going swiftly on Colas back.

"Thanks Cola." Jace pets him and he gives a simple coo.

"There!" Calista points at the cave, Jace and Calista slide off, as Cola becomes smaller again.

The piercing shrieks are heard and Jace frowns.

"He's free, but how?" Jace scratches his head.

"That's not important! Let's go!" She points and the three take off.
