Crimson Devil Or Bright Angel

Chapter 1:

-Ayame P.O.V.-

"Aya, get up" i heard my dads voice say, i groaned and turned over "5 more minutes" i mumbled. "Don't make me get the ice water bucket" once i heard that i jumped out of bed, i looked at the clock and it was 5:00 A.M. I sighed "Dad, why do i have to get up so early" he gave me a glare "So you can train to become the best vampire huntress" I just rolled my eyes and he put a hand on my shoulder "Aya, you know they're evil and what they can do, people need vampire hunters like us around, if we weren't around, think of all the people that would die" I sighed and nodded in agreement and he smiled. "Now, get your gear on i have a surprise for you" I nodded once more and he exited my room and shut the door. He was right, if people didn't have vampire hunters like us around then a lot of people would die. I went to my closet and put on my black sleeveless hoodie and black jeans, i also put on my hunter belt. I exited my room and went down stairs to the kitchen and saw father standing in front of something. I walked over and sat at the other end of the table and saw two long black sheaths, I looked at him questioningly and he smiled "I know you've been wanting these for a while since they were your mothers, so i'm passing them down to you" I smiled slightly and a tear slid down my face. 

*Flashback*

"Mommy, mommy" I yelled with ecstasy as my mom opened the front door. I jumped into her arms and hugged her. "Ah, there's my little huntress, did you have a good day with your daddy" I nodded and she laughed. "Where is your daddy" she asked, putting me down "Oh, he's in his study" I said with a big, goofy smile on my face. She giggled and pinched my cheek "Did daddy feed you yet" I shook my head and she grabbed my hand and I walked with her to the kitchen and sat at the table "What would you like to eat dear" she asked as she rummaged through the cabinets. "Um, how about, Spaghetti O's" She smiled and nodded. She grabbed the can and opened it then put it in a pan and turned the stove on. "Alright, you stay here and I'm gonna go say hi to daddy, ok" I nodded and started swinging my feet. 

*3 minutes later*

"AAAAAAHHHH" I heard my mom shriek, I jumped at the sudden noise and jumped off the chair. "Mommy" I said as I ran into the living room "AYAME, GET BACK" my mom yelled as she pushed a strange person off her. "GIVE HER TO ME" the person yelled as he lunged towards me. "EEEEEKKKK" I yelled as I jumped out of the way "LEAVE HER ALONE" my mom yelled as she jumped on top of the person, putting them into a choke hold. My father then ran into the room with a crossbow and my mothers katana's, he tried aiming towards the person but they were moving too much. "DADDY, WHAT'S GOING ON" I yelled, he looked at me wide eyed and grabbed me, pushing me behind him. "FINE, IF I CAN'T HAVE HER, THEN I'LL TAKE YOU" the person said as they powerfully shoved my mom, she coughed out blood as she was penetrated through the stomach with a piece of broken glass pointing out of the window. "MOMMY" "AYUMI" my dad and I yelled "YOU BASTARD" he yelled as he charged towards the person and yelled "YOU'LL PAY" then stabbing him through the chest with one of my mothers katana's. The person then went limp and my dad dropped him, running over to my mom "Oh, no. No, no, NO. AYUMI" my mother limply put her hand on my dad's face "Akio...take care...of...*cough*....of...Ayame....and....I love...." her hand fell and she went limp. I ran to her "M-Mommy" I said as tears fell from my eyes"M-Mommy, please wake up.." I said, my voice cracking. My dad put his arm around me and picked me up and went upstairs and sat me on his bed "A-Ayame...hurry and pack your things...we're leaving" I gave him a confused look "B-But daddy...we can't leave till mommy wakes-" "SHE'S NEVER WAKING UP AYAME, NOW GET YOUR THINGS" I coward in fear and shock and looked at the ground and started sobbing. He put a hand on my shoulder "Ayame-" "NO, DON'T TOUCH ME" I yelled and ran downstairs and fell right in front of my mother, who's limp body was still on the glass. I sobbed and hugged her legs "M-Mommy...why won't you wake up.."
