Time flies by so fast that anything is possible. Unexplained things happen and can create rifts between people and it may break many hearts. But love, love is a whole different thing. Two people fall in love and may be together forever and have their happy ending. But on the other hand, love can bring tragedy. It can pull two people against each other and create problems. But in Kim Taehyung's case, he cherished it.

Kim Taehyung, 24 year old male, Korean idol. He had everything. The good looks, the awesome body, the perfect smile, and the best band mates ever. He grew up with no fear and lived on with life. He didn't let anything stop him. And also, he had the best girlfriend in the world. Her name was Eun Ha Lee. She was everything to him and made him the happiest man alive. That is until he learned about his illness.

Taehyung was always healthy, ever since he was young. He would never get sick and his parents loved that about him. He and Eun Ha have been together ever since they were young, and so anything that happened in his life, Eun Ha knew about. But there was one thing he never told her about. And that was, his sickness. He didn't want to burden her and it was too much to take in. He didn't want her to know that he was dying, slowly and painfully.

His band members were worried about him and especially Jimin and Jungkook. The two of them were very close with him and they had no idea about the sickness either. Taehyung was hiding this to himself. He went to many doctors and they still couldn't help him. He was hopeless, he was gonna die and no one could save him. And that was when one of his doctors recommended he go overseas to get treated.

Taehyung was conflicted. He didn't want to leave everything behind and just suddenly leave to go overseas. He barely knew English and how could he tell Eun Ha and his band members. 'Oh hey, just letting you know, I'm slowly dying so I have to go to America to get treated?' Yeah, what a mouthful. His parents insisted he go, they wanted their son to be healthy again. And so with their help, he told his band members.

Jungkook and Jimin burst into tears and tightly hugged him. Everyone hugged Taehyung and cried as well. He told them not to tell Eun Ha about it and they all agreed. And the only thing that he had to do was to break up with Eun Ha. It hurt his heart to do this, but this was the best. He was going to die and he can't put her through that. He had to do things the easy way. He called her and told her to come to the park they used to play at when they were little.

Taehyung was leaning against the park fence and put his hood, over his head and waiting for her. He looked over to the right and saw her walking up to him, smiling and giggling. It hurt his heart so much, her smiles brightened up his dark world. Her perfect curves and personality, it made him go crazy. She stopped in front of him and he smiled at her slightly. He stayed silent for a bit and Eun Ha spoke up.

"Taehyung-ah, why did you bring me all the way here? What's going on?"

"Eun Ha-ah, I have something to say." His face turns into an unpleasant one.

"What is it? Why do you look upset? Did someone say something?"

Taehyung took a deep breath. " Let's break up."

Eun ha stared at him and her smile turned into a frown. "A-Are you playing with me? Why do you want to do that?"

"I'm going overseas for a while and it's a bother to date someone overseas." He rolled his eyes.

"What? Taehyung-ah, stop joking! You promised me! That we would be together forever!" Tears spilled from her eyes and Taehyung sighed.

"We were eight eyes old at that time! Can't you get over that stupid promise! It's ridiculous!" He shouts and Eun Ha was in tears, sobbing.

"Taehyung-ah, what's wrong with you..? Don't you love me? I love you, how can you do this! How can you break up with me? Why do you have to go overseas?" She pushed him against the wall and stared into his eyes. Tears had also escaped his eyes.

"I never loved you."

'No, that's not true! I love you so fucking much, It hurts.' The voice inside Taehyung says.

"What? You said you loved me! You broke everything we promised! We were suppose to be together till the end, till were old and wrinkly!" Eun Ha was sobbing and holding onto Taehyung tightly. Taehyung had tears dripping down his face.

"I lied. I only did it to make my parents happy. So please, let me go. I have a flight tonight." He pushed her off and started to walk away.

"YAH! KIM TAEHYUNG! GET BACK HERE!" She tried running after him, but he had already left. She stood by herself in the parking lot and stared up at the sky. Rain drops fell on her face and soon it was pouring rain. She walked in the rain and cried. How could he just break up. Was his love a lie the entire time? Did he find someone else? What was his problem? She fell onto the ground and screamed.

Taehyung looked out the window from his car. He was sobbing as he watched the rain fall. He had to do this, in order for her to be happy. He didn't want to ruin her career because of him. She was a doctor in training and he was happy for her. He watched the rain fall harder against the glass, he felt guilty just leaving her there. He loved her so much, but this was for the best. He was dying and no one could save him, not even god.
