My only wish , my only dream

Chapter 4: another guardian

Its now Friday morning , after finding out on Tuesday that blair was a magic bearer too , i felt happy. I know have a friend but because she is a magic bearer i can be her friend but if she wasn't then i would have to stay away from her like the others. I still hang with the others and sit with them when there in my class but i keep feeling like someone is watching me so i begin to distant myself from them.

"Hey Alissa chan!", blair called as i snapped out of it. I smiled at her as she ran up to me. "Im excited for the weekend", she cheered. "Yeah , i cant wait to have a lie in", i said. Blair laughed and we talked about what we would do over the weekend till we got to school.

"Im going to go catch up with Vivian , so il see you lesson 3", blair said and ran off while waving. "See ya", i said and walked to my home room.

"Shit", someone said. I spun round and saw a boy who was on the floor near the window and he was covered in leaves. I laughed at the state of him , he rolled his eyes.

He stood up and cleaned himself off. "Did u fall through the window", i asked. "No, i was thrown thank you very much", he said with a smile. "Okay, wait what!", i shouted. "Like i said i was thrown through the window", he said. "How are you still standing , who threw you", i asked.

"Oh , the person who threw me was like you", he said. "What a magic bearer", i said. He nodded then i heard a shout from down the corridor. "Hey Ross, we should leave before anyone asks about what happened", a boy in jeans and a long coat said then eyed me over. "Well at least she saw us", he said and looked my way. "Introductions dont go a long way", he grumbled at me.

"Well maybe you can start", i replied. "The name is ross and this grumpy sod is my magic bearer Logan", ross said as he smiled at me. "Im not a grumpy sod!", logan yelled.

I laughed when they had a little squabble after that. The bell went off not so long after they began. "Ive got to go", i said and was about to walk off till ross grabbed my wrist and pulled me backwards. Suddenly he put a cloth over my mouth and then it went black.

(Time skip)

I sprung my eyes open and looked around. I was in a dark room and i was tied up by some sort of wire which was attached to the wall. My face stung and my head was spinning, soon footsteps came closer. "So your awake", someone unfamiliar said. I looked around to where the voice was coming from, but soon a boy with ginger and blonde streaked hair came in front of me and he smirked.

"Wheres ross and logan",i asked. "They did as they were told so they have gone to do whatever they like", he smirked. "U told them to catch me", i said. "Yes, now i want to ask ,why are you a magic bearer", he asked. "Because i want to help my partner", i said. "Oh really, to be honest your holding him back cause you arnt fit to be his magic bearer", he said as he slapped me. "What about blair", i said.

"She isnt who she says she is , so she is qualified i guess, but you a normal boring human , partnered with one of us guardians", he said. "Il give u three options", he said while slapping me again. "One, you either forget about us and break the contract with Dakota, two, i erase your memories of him which will also break the contract or three , i can kill you", he smirked. "Neither, ask him if he thinks I'm a nuisance", i said. The man huffed,"stupid girl, he wont admit it cause he's nice like that", he said folding his arms.

"Whats the problem with me being his magic bearer", i asked. "What do you think the guardians are supposed to do, everyday we have to fend off low demons that come here", he said.

"The thing is while we are fending off these demons , dakota is stuck looking over you because your human so they believe that your an easy target", he said then punched me in the stomach.

I couldn't hold my stomach which really hurt right now, once the pain died down a bit, i thought over what he said. "So i am a nuisance", i muttered. "Well done your getting it", he cheered. "When you said we are you a guardian too", i asked. "Yes , I'm zane, my sister zoey mentioned you and was praising you", he said and clutched his fist. One after another he punched me.

"Why did she praise you not me!", he shouted. Soon i was spitting blood everywhere. "That didn't take long, your weak!", he shouted and raised his fist again. I looked at him as he closed in, in a blink of an eye someone ran in front of me and held zanes fist really easily.

"Dakota!", zane shouted. I couldn't see dakotas face but relief and shock filled my  mind. In one move zane was flung into the wall , but not just into it , through it. I sat watching in pain.

"You knows she a nuisance, we are fighting and your stuck protecting that human!", zane said. Dakota didn't reply only punching him again. This time it looked like zane had been injured cause he spat out blood, lots of it. Dakota kicked zane this time and zane went flying. Dakota soon turned as he realised zane wasnt going to be getting up anytime soon.

He swiftly cut me free and surprisingly carried me bridal style. "I can walk", i said but after i spat out blood. I looked up for a reply but silence was my answer and i couldn't see his face cause my eyes were becoming blurry and soon darkness overwhelmed me.
