I'm running down a long corridor, the floor a deep bloody red and soft against my bare feet. The walls lined with a blinding but off-White paint; the walls are bare; not a single window, painting, bulb or even candle. Suddenly a luminous light is omitted from the end of the hallway, it was as if heavens doors had opened and the Lord himself was screaming great sanctuary.
My breathing was more spread out, my panting more like an animal then the human I'm supposed to be. It matching my heart beat that was slowly fading down to dust.
"Come back to me" then beep!
"Come back to me"...beep!
"Come back to me".....beep!
Finally I stopped running, and turned my back on my last hope of peace. I watched as darkness took over the hallway....but I felt somehow protected. The words "come back to me" loomed in the air, being spoken by an oh so familiar voice that I just couldn't place.I stand there sentinel thinking about my next step, that's all I did was think about where I was going and not where I had been....so I didn't move.
All of a sudden, I felt a cold breeze, but I saw no opening to the outside world. Gradually the wind got stronger, until it was as if someone had turned on an industrial size fan. I found myself being pushed through the light.
