School ended and I quickly ran out of the premises like cheetahs were chasing me.I don't like running but if it means running out of school I will ran like Usain Bolt.I opened the door and ran upstairs.Today I was going to be home alone cause my mom was going on a date with her new boyfriend.Honestly I don't like the idea of having someone replacing my dad but if my moms happy I am.I plugged in my laptop and logged on to my Netflix account.I have like 10 different personalities on Netflix so I can get a free month.I heard the door bell ringing.ughhhhhh ! Who is it I yelled upstairs.I quickly put on my duck slippers and ran downstairs.I opened the door and saw Shawn standing in the rain.He looks so good he was wearing a sweatshirt, jeans, addidas superstars and topped it with an addidas cap.
Shawn: are u going to keep on drooling ?
Rori :I am not drooling I am just puzzled that you are here.
Shawn : well I need to talk to you .
Rori :about what did I do now.
Shawn :Rori I have been thinking about you lately.
Rori:oh thank but you got to go my mom is going to be here anytime soon and I don't like she would be please to see me with you.
Shawn:wait I like you , do you feel the Same about me ?
Rori: bye Shawn..you have to get home its late.
And with that I shut the door on him and went upstairs.I can't believe it ,I'm trying to stop feeling this but I can't.it's like I can't forget him.I won't fall for Shawns trick he loves Felicia this is not the first time that he tells a girl he likes her and then they date and boom Felicia takes him back.This has been an interesting day.
The next day.........
Today my mom was in a good mood and dropped me off at school.Sitting in my mom's car and listening to classic music Is actually better than sitting in the bus.I got out of the car and kissed my mom on the cheek.I walked inside the school and headed straight to my locker.I saw Shawn coming to me but then Augustus got to me first.Augustus was my crush in grade 2.His actually kind but in grade2 his family moved to Germany.He came back early this year.
Rori:hi Augustus
Augustus :hi
Augustus :I came to ask you if you would like to go with me to go and get some frozen yoghurt after school.
Rori:uh...
Augustus: please ..for old time sake.
Rori:um sure its a deal
And with that he left.I turned to look at Shawn and saw a sad face on him.He turned around and went to join his friends.
The day went so quick.it was time for my date with Augustus.I don't know if its a date or just a hang out but whatever it is I need to get ready.I picked up my phone to ask him where we would meet.
Rori: where should we meet
Augustus : um I'll pick you up by your house.
Rori:do u even remeber where I live ?
Augustus :huh funny yes I do.I remeber always playing with you there.
Rori:ok sure fetch me @ 4.
Augustus : ok.
I dashed upstairs and grabbed the first things I could see.I grabbed my white short jumpsuit , leather jacket and my converse.I tied my hair in a messy bun and put on light makeup.The time was 3:23.Great now what do I do with myself.I watched an episode of sponge Bob as I was waiting for Augustus to pick me up.The door bell rang and I stormed for the door.Augustus was looking good in a casual white tee shirt , Jean and shoes.I got my bag and off we went.The car ride was pretty interesting cause we were blasting and singing Halsey music.I don't know why but when I'm around him I feel so comfortable
Augustus :we are here now.
He opened the door for me.wow this is the first time a guy opens the door for me.We walked in the frozen yogurt shop and ordered.I got a strawberry swirl and Augustus got the same.
Augustus:thanks for coming along
Rori: your welcome.
Augustus : honestly I have missed spending time together just like the old times.
Rori:umm me tooo.
We laughed and laughed the night away.
Rori:umm its getting late I have to get home I have to study.
Augustus : um right let's go.
I grabbed my bag and jacket.My bag was open and my pads flew out.My face become red.Great way to make an impression Rori great way.Ugh why am I so clumsy.Augustus laughed and picked them up.
Rori:what's so funny
Augustus :your face is funny I mean come on I also drop my pads on dates.
Rori: haha funny...this was a date ?
Augustus: I mean yah...
Rori: okay ..lets go.
I was so embarrassed.who does that ? Who drops things like that and what annoyed me was that it was the whole packet.I stuffed the whole packet inside.The poor guy must think I always flood.On the way we were playing I spy.
Rori: I have a good one I spy a light.
Augustus : um the red lights
Rori:noooo
Augustus : um what
Rori: the lights my mom is switching on to tell me to enter the house.bye Augustus.
Augustus: bye.
August opened the door for me.I walked out and leaned in to give him a hug.Augustus thought I was giving him a kiss and kissed me.I mean the guy is tall and I'm the same height as his lips that's where I end on him.I quickly moved back and gave him a wave.I got in and sat bye the door.I mean they were sparks.it felt like it was the 4th of July.Do I like him ??????? I mean like I have never ever kissed Shawn and I have never been that close to him.Maybe Augustus is my soulmate
