Teagen lay helplessly on the floor.  Tears burned her cheeks and the metal cuffs dug into her skin.  She looked at her father's dead body with disturbance and horror.

"Y-you are truly a m-monster... your s-soul is black.  You are a d-demon who deserves to perish" Teagen choked.

"I see." Mr. Gallows said wiping the blood on the silver knife onto a handkerchief.
" Well, some things just have to be done." he said calmly as if murdering a young woman's father was no big deal.

"D-do you understand w-what you have done?!" Teagen yelled.

"I understand perfectly my dear Teagen.  The question is, do you understand?........  I needed a body for another android, and now I have one.  Simple as that."

Teagen continued to cry softly.  "Fine." Mr. Gallows sighed.  "If you are that upset over this, we shall hold a funeral for your father.  Then we can return to more important matters."  he said.

"You think that a funeral will sooth my sadness!!!" Teagen screamed.

"Do you want us to commemorate your father's life with a service or not!" Mr. Gallows said loudly.

"Yes...I do." Teagen said softly.

"Then I shall make the proper arrangements."  Mr. Gallows said as he pulled his cell phone out of his coat pocket.  He dialed a phone number and awaited someone to pick up.  "Hello, Lenore?  I need you to help me with a certain task.  I want you to make funeral arrangements for Teagen's father.....yes I know, a very unfortunate event indeed.  Anyways, I need flowers to be ordered......yes.........alright.  I also need someone to take care of Jerdin's body...yes, send someone right away.  I will call you back later.  Goodbye."

"Here." he said pressing a button on his phone.

The shackles on Teagen snapped open releasing her.  She rubbed the red rings snaked around her wrists as she slowly stood up.  Teagen slowly walked over to her father's body on the floor.  She kneeled down and grasped his lifeless, cold hand.  Suddenly, a tall man came through the sliding door with a gurney and a white tarp.

"Thank you for coming so quickly Mr. Bedemand." Mr. Gallows said to the man.

Mr. Bedemand lifted the body onto the gurney and covered it with the white sheet.  The man wheeled the gurney out the door and down the halls.

"It would be best if I left too.  My work here is done.  Good day Teagen." Mr. Gallows said as he exited the room.

Teagen went over to the glass wall and looked at her reflection in the windows.  Her eyes were red from crying and her hair was messy.  She pressed her hand against the window and sighed.
