It was November 7th at 2:35am in Afghanistan, Zara hides in a prickly bush preying everything will be okay. Zara's father is in a war, he has told Zara to stay hidden. In the silence, there was a slight gun shot. Zara stays still, trying to keep her emotions in, worried about her dad. She feels a slight tap on her shoulder, it was her dad. As Zara turns around Zara says ever so slightly with tears running down her face, "is this the end of it, are you going to be okay?" Zara's father started crying. "Some people aren't so fortunate" he said, "whatever happens to me, stay safe." Zara says in horror, "please, don't leave me here" Zara's father turns around "I have to go" he says.
That one footstep was his last. Zara's father- Troy Williamson got shot right in the heart.
