Calum pov

I laid on the couch and continued to think about Michael letting Mia stay with him. She just caused him so much pain. She was the love of his life. I sighed and quietly entered the bedroom to see Natalie sleeping. We still haven't quite made up from her trying to make me get rid of Cj. I climbed into bed with her knowing that she's gonna scold me for climbing into bed with her. She nuzzles her face in my chest as i gently pulled the blanket to cover my body. I smiled and closed my eyes. This final moment i was at piece with my girlfriend.

"Did you convince him yet?" Brendon question over the phone. "Yes he bought it. I can stay here til I am able to live on my own I  spoke as I searched through the fridge for a snack. "What an dumbass. Who believe someone as terrible as you is pregnant" Brendon chuckled. "I don't know, maybe because he is still a sweet guy" I replied as I grabbed a container of strawberries and began to eat one. "Or he has sympathy for someone pathetic like you." Brendon laughed

I was quite upset about the statements Brendon was making but i thought it was best that I didn't say anything. "Probably but I did have his baby after all"i murmured. "That's even better, bond with the kid to get a better relationship with him" he said happily. He was under the influence that since Michael comes from a rich family that we could hustle money out of him.

"I'm not allowed to communicate with her" I pressed the phone against my ear. "Why not? It is your kid" he replied. "When I  disappeared and left Michelle with Michael I  had signed over my rights as a guardian to her."

"Hey Minnie how was daycare?" I smiled as I picked her up and walked to the car. "It was great daddy" she smiled as she played with a string of my hair. "That's great. Do you want to tell daddy about the problem you've been having at school?" I questioned as I opened the car door and put her in her car seat. I began to buckle her up. "This boy is mean to me. He says I'm the reason you're not married"she pouted and crossed her arms.

I looked at her softly. "Me not being married isn't your fault." i gently pressed my lips against her forehead. "I'm happy with just us" I smiled as i closed the car door. I opened the door to the drivers seat. I got inside the car "Daddy who's the lady staying in our home?" she hummed as she ate the chips she had in her lunch box. "She's daddy's friend" I lied, taking calum advice on not telling her.

"Would she play with me later?" she smiled. I watched her through the car mirror. "No I don't think she would want to play Minnie. I'll play with you tomorrow" I sighed and continued to drive to calum house. "No daddy me always play with you. Me wanna make new friends" she pouted. "You can make friends in daycare" I laughed as I parked in Calum drive way. I got out of the car and opened her door.

I unbuckled her and helped her out of the car, closing the door behind her. She quickly ran to Calum door. Her pink backpack dragging behind her. I smiled at how adorable she is. I walked behind her and lifted her up so she could ring the doorbell. A ringing noise filled our ears as a few minutes later Calum opened the door.

"I finally get to see my favorite niece" he laughed as he picked her up and began to tickle her. She squealed with laughter. I smiled and entered the house with them. "Thanks Cal for watching her" I smiled as I picked up her backpack she dropped on the floor. I hung it on the chair in the dining room. "Its cool" he smiled as he had her sitting on his shoulders. "So where's Natalie?" I questioned as I looked around. "She left a couple of minutes ago to do some more baby shopping" he sat down on the couch and Michelle climbed off his lap.

"With Michelle she hated wearing clothing and needed lots of diapers" I laughed. "Me a stinky butt" she smiled while running around clamping her fingers. "Honestly I'm nervous about being a father" Calum sighed. "Every parent is" I smiled trying to make him feel better. "You make it seem so easy and perfect, even though you're doing it all by yourself. You even denied the help from your wealthy parents" Calum sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"Raising Michelle is not easy. I have to worry about her hair, clothing, food, and hygiene" he sighed. "Raising her was not easy for me at all. I denied my parents help because i wanted to be independent" Calum turned to face me "I'm sorry Michael, at least we have each other" he pulled me into a hug. I began to smile "i have to go Calum. I got a studying session" i let go of him and stood of from the couch. "Minnie come say goodbye to daddy" i smiled. She smiled and hugged my leg. "Be a good girl for uncle Cal" I smiled and left the house.
