I still feel that fire burn ,

Though every flame , I help along ,

Despite being reduced to ashes, I stand calm and watch.

The music hits me hard, I don't wanna go,

And its despite all I know,

It's how the song ends.

We are both stone eyed, too afraid to melt ;

And we don't know what slipped out our palms,

And as we hide from the truth, caressing regret,

We reminisice, and feel the shiver we felt once, ago.

And suddenly the picture falls out the frame ,

And shatters out to a million pieces,

We just help it fall along.

(silently)

Those glimpses, they don't go back,

There are infinite rewinds, and then playbacks.

And that keeps our breaths escaping , slowly;

Over the murmur of words, we keep aside.

And there comes a day, someday,

A day , the one they say ,

You and me , escape hand in hand ,

Somewhere untouched , a road too long,

But who fears the distance ,

To a destination,

Where two hearts ,

We're born to belong.

(Sigh).

# life is like a gamble.

Each day we win, and still lose.

We don't know what our smiles earn, and what our tears wash away.

We just live each day, as if just a passing shower on the way.

Let the passing shower, for once be the rain.

And you'll know how soothing every moment is.

Touch those places in yourself, which you know exist, but are afraid to conquer.

That's life.

Or that's what I know about it.
