"Good morning baby." I said I walked into Karmen's room to get her, she was smiling up at me.

"Mornin mamma." She smiled at me which warmed my heart even more. Xavier was gone for the day with Tirus and Jordan, helping Jordan pick out a ring. With that thought I smiled, me and Danesa were close before but ever since I found out we were sisters we clicked even more. I found out the news about a month ago and it's been pretty smooth sailing ever sense. We tell each other everything, and it feels like this is the way it always should've been but I guess it should've. "Where's Dadda?" Karmen asked after I got her seated in her booster seat.

"He's with uncle TT and uncle Jordan at the store he'll be back later, I hope you ok with just being with me today." I said making a sad face and Karmen immediately looked guilty for asking.

"Of course Mamma, I love you, what we doing today?" She asked animatedly trying to lift my spirits.

"Well I was thinking we could go to see granny then go to the water park," I said pausing and looking at her, Karmen had the biggest smile on her face as I told her the plans for the day. "Then we're gonna go to auntie D's house and play with her for a little while. House that sounds?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yay!!!!" She screamed while bouncing in her booster seat. I giggled at her reaction, Xavier never lets me spoil her like I want to because he says it'll turn her into a brat so whenever he isn't around I spoil her big time. It's a simple thing it can't that major of an impact on her, it's literally only like once every three months: Xavier is rarely ever gone, and when he is its only for an hour but he's gonna be gone all day so we can have a lot of fun.

"Ok but you have to be really good in order to do everything today meaning no pouting or any of that." I said giving her a stern look. "Can you handle it?" She nodded her head so fast it might've fell of her shoulders. I laughed and began eating my breakfast, out the corner of my eye I saw Karmen doing a happy dance in her seat and I laughed under my breath.

"Ok you ready Karmen?" I asked the little girl bouncing with excitement while holding back my laughter, she was smiling so hard her face might break and she was bursting with happiness.

"Yes Mamma!" She screamed as we walked to the car, I laughed and so did she. After I strapped her in I got in my seat and we set off to our first destination, my mothers house. It wasn't a far ride only about 10 minutes but Karmen was so anxious to get there that she bounced and sang and laughed the whole ride with the occasional 'are we there yet' which made me laugh.

She was only excited because we came over here my mother spoils the crap out of her to make up for stuff she didn't do with me. I don't mind though I want my daughter to have all the opportunities and luxuries available to her. "Ok baby girl we're here." I said turning around to face her, she was smiling ridiculously hard, I couldn't help but take a picture of her happiness and send it to Xavier. We walked up the stairs and I unlocked the door. "Ma we here!!!" I yelled into the massive house. I heard her heels clicking toward us coming from the west wing where Karmen's room is and shook my head, she's probably been preparing that room all week.

My mother quickly came into view in all her rich black lady glory, she had one of those pastel dresses that look like if she moves to much it'll be ruined. Every strand of her freshly died hair was pinned into place, her makeup was perfectly natural looking. My mother is who Oprah wanted to be, she was still thin and she didn't have a single wrinkle, how she managed this at age 40. Karmen wiggle her chubby little hand out of mine and ran up to my mother as I watched from behind as they shared an embrace. "Granny!" Karmen shrieked as they hugged.

"Hi doodle, have you been a good girl?" My mother responded excitedly, Karmen nodded her head as fast as it would go. "Are you sure?" My mother asked her, Karmen tried nodding faster. "Are you really sure doodle??" My mother asked one final time.
