Kylie's - 1.1.16
I got given this diary months ago by my old neighbour Alice. She's 70 and found it in her husband's old stuff (Alice is a widow). I'm Kylie and I'm 13 years old, today's my birthday so I decided to take out this diary and write all about today and all of 8th grade.

I'll tell you a bit about myself. I'm an orphan. My birth parents' names were Margaret and Elvis, they were both twenty three when they had me. When I was 6 months old my mum began driving again (she got really bad eyesight after my birth) she brought my dad and me with her somewhere, that day was the day of the car crash that killed my parents. My parents didn't write wills so I couldn't be placed with God parents, my grandparents or any of my aunts and uncles the only place I could go is in this orphanage. I never got adopted I'm not sure why though. I have a couple of memories of my parents, one of them is the car crash I can see a red light and blood it's not a very nice memory. Another memory is of my mum and dad playing with me. I also have some belongings that were found in my old home, things like photos and stuff that you can't sell. It turns out that my parents had a huge debt and the house and contents had to be sold, only a few thing got given to me, I got given my mum's wedding ring, my dad's cologne, my old teddy and the ashes of our old cat.

First when I woke up I got coco pops (I rarely get these) I was  lucky because they expire tomorrow. Tessa (aka bæ 4 life) Forgot to get me it last week until just yesterday, so yeah. Lucks for me!
After breakfast all of the girls in my room sang happy birthday and they even gave me a cake! We then all got dressed and ready for the day, today we were allowed to go outside and have fun at the park.

For lunch I had a wrap, it was really nice. After lunch Ellie (my almost sister), Tessa and I went to a Mexican food truck, that's where I got my wrap. Ellie has gone to the same school as me, lived in the same orphanage as me since I was four years old. Tessa is really rich, her dad is a surgeon and her mum is a lawyer, Tessa has been my best freind

For dinner we had lasagna, one word yum it made me happy. Now we are at the point where I say goodnight so... Goodnight.
