(Y/N)= Your name *or the name you wish you had*

You ran through the narrow dark alleyways of the town of Endorla towards your home where you heard the screams coming from. You could smell the smoke that only a burning building could make and feel the cold sweat on your palms that only worry and fear could give. Had the war finally made itself to your small, peaceful town?

You were forcefully yanked out of your worried thoughts as you saw  a small gang of four or so blue uniformed soldiers standing in the middle of the alleyway. Their tall bodies were blocking the view of the burning inn where you had lived for as long as you could remember with your mother. "Hey, young Miss, are you lost?" the Amestrian soldier in the middle asked as the other three grinned down on yo sardonically. Your heart skipped a beat as he stepped towards you and you heard the screams of several other girls and women from different locations of the town.

You took a step back, wondering just how well these soldiers knew how to navigate the back roads and alleyways that wound its way through Endorla- the labyrinth that made this town famous. The soldiers took another step in your lead and you urned around to make a run for it, praying that you could take the left sector that wound through the forest and the sheep market in time to see if you could save your mother from the burning inn. You could lose them- you knew you could, as long as you could outrun them. You couldn't. You tripped on an old tree root and crashed to the ground, giving the Amestrians ample time to catch up.

Your eyes widened as you realized that you knew these four soldiers who now surrounded you with hungry eyes. They were the ones who came last year to patrol the town and who sometimes ate and slept at you and your mothers inn. As the news on the radio began to list off names of cities and towns and villages that got closer and closer to your own, you thought that at least surely THESE soldiers wouldn't harm you or your mother. But you were wrong. War is war, you realized, and reached for the bottom of your shopping bag to pull out the small sawed off shotgun that your mother hadn't let you leave the house without in the past four months or so.

Before you could, however, two of the soldiers, Tyson and Starke, if you remember their names correctly, grabbed you by your petite arms, while the redheaded one- Blake- grabbed your kicking legs. Tears of fear and anger, and betrayal filled your eyes as the ringleader, whose name was Redding , began unbuckling his sophisticated uniform,an uneasy, cannibalistic lust settled in the air like static and you closed your eyes as tight as you could so you wouldn't have the images stuck in your mind. This is why, even though they ate and drank and slept at your inn, and had kind conversations with your mother, is why your mother never trusted them, and never let you get to close to them. This is why your mother always made you carry a gun and never let you wear anything that looked cuter than an oversized potato sack, and made you walk through the labyrinth, for even the simplest of errands.

It was to protect you from these sorts of crimes.... The wartime casualties of women.

Your eyes involuntarily snapped open as you heard a low, but shrill and sarcastic whistle come from the opening of the alleyway. You saw another soldier with slicked back dark brown hair and golden eyes leaning against a brick wall, his arms crossed over his chest. There was a look that was a strange mixture of general disapproval and amusement splayed across his face. The other soldiers looked back at him in surprise and embarrassment at the man who you remember to be one of their commanding officers and a pleading feeling of release came over you as he slowly walked over. Their grips on your limbs loosened"You guys really have balls- about to do the nasty in some corner with- what the fuck is that- kindergartners, now?" he asks, flippantly.
