Well, my good friend, yes it is true, that Tirek has never made an appearance in the Equestria Girls movies, and I understand your confusion. But, since this is a made up story, Tirek has appeared in equestria girls world. How it happened was like this:
When Tirek was banished to the Netherlands, he started learning advanced magic with a wizard called, Hue (hoo). Hue told him that there was a lot more magic in the human world, and so Tirek snuck into the princesses castle and went through the mirror. Once there, the main 5 found him and defeated him. This happened before human Twilight joined Canterlot High.
