Swapped Phones

Chapter 1

Avalon's POV

"Avalon are you sure?" Cammie asked me for the 10th time today.

"Yes, Cam. You come over and we leave my house at 2 and we should be done by 6." I replied to her. 

"Ok. Good. I just can't believe it's tomorrow!" She shrieked.

"Ow. Anyway calm down. I gotta go, but I'll see you tomorrow." I said.

"BYE!" She screamed and we hung up. 

Cammie was my best friend ever and we were going to the One Direction signing tomorrow.  i was just excited as she was, but she took it to an extreme. I have been walking around the mall and was checking my twitter when all of a sudden, someone ran into me.  "Oomph" was the sound that came out of my mouth when I was knocked down.  My phone fell out of my hands. "Oh! I'm so sorry! Let me help you up." someone with an accent said. I grabbed my phone and looked up. It was Liam Payne! 

"Are you alright?" he asked helping me up then picking up his phone. 

"Y-yeah I'm fine thanks." I replied.
That was when we heard screaming coming close.

"I have to go, are you sure your ok?" Liam asked .

"Yeah I'm fine. I think you should go." I said looking at the crazed girls. He then ran off.

Just to help I yelled, "Oh My God there's Liam Payne!" and pointed in the opposite direction.

All the girls ran in that direction. In the corner of my eye I saw Liam look back and smile.  I just met Liam Payne! I put my phone in my purse and walked home. I live with my parents and my older brother, Trey, and my younger sister, Maia. 

I walked through the door and yelled, "I'm back!".

Maia ran up to me," Avalon!"

"Hi munchkin what's up?" I asked.

"Can you help me cook dinner? Mum and Dad are still working and Trey isn't very good." she said.

"Alright go get Trey and we can all make a nice dinner." I said and she ran off.

Maia is 8, I'm 17, and Trey is 19. Maia was kind of a surprise but we love her anyway. Our family is very close. I'm close to Trey and pretty much could tell him anything. 

"Hey there little sis, how was your day?" Trey asked.

"Hai there big bro, it was good but you will never guess who bumped into me today." I said.

"Let me guess, someone from One Direction." he said sarcastically.

"Yup, Liam Payne accidentally knocked me down when running from fans, it was awesome." I said smiling.

Trey was looking at me trying to detect the lie. "Are you lying?" he asked.

"Nope" I replied.

"Aren't you a lucky girl." he said.

We made dinner and had a great time. Maia helped out a lot. We set the table and just finished making dinner when a phone rang.

"Is that yours?" I asked Trey.

"Nope, I thought it was yours." he said.

Sure enough the ringing was coming from my purse. I looked who was calling and it said Louis, with a picture of Louis Tomlinson.

I picked up, "Hello?" I said.

"Hi. I was wondering why you have my phone." the person asked.

"Um who is this" I asked.

"Liam." he said.

"Oh, I guess you have mine than." I replied.

"Yeah, so how did we swap phones?" Liam asked.

"I think we swapped when you knocked me down." I said.

"Oh! That was you? I'm sorry are you hurt in anyway?" he asked truly concerned.

"Just a few scrapes but I'm good." I replied.

"Why don't we meet up to get our phones." he suggested.

"Ok when and where." I asked.

"Um... Can I come to your place? I'd say mine but I'm not allowed to give the address." he said.

"Sure my address is *address*" I said.

"I'll be there in ten." He said and we hung up.

"Hey mum and dad just called. They won't be home for dinner." Trey said. "

Ok. Maia can you put away one plate?" I asked her.

"One plate?" Trey asked.

"Yeah we might have a guest staying for dinner." I replied.

Five minutes later the doorbell rang. I opened the door and welcomed him in.

"Hi, Liam, I'm Avalon." I said.

"Nice to meet you Avalon." Liam replied.

"Um. Wanna stay for dinner?" I asked.

"Sure." He replied. 

I introduced him to my siblings and we sat down to eat. At first it was a little weird but then slowly things became normal and I got to know alot more about Liam. We finished dinner and did the dishes. Now we were all sitting in the living room. It was 11 and Maia drifted off in my arms.

"I better go it is getting late." Liam said passing me my phone.

"Oh thanks" I said passing him his phone.

"Here is my number, we should hang out sometime, you too Trey." Liam said.

"Yeah mate we should." Trey replied.

We all ended up swapping phones and adding each others numbers. I passed Maia to Trey and he took her upstairs. I walked Liam to the door.

"Wanna hang out tomorrow?" Liam asked.

"I would but can't. I have to go meet you at the signing. " I said.

"Ok. How about I take you for breakfast and I can take you to meet the boys privately." Liam suggested.

"Wait really?!?" I asked him.

"Yeah. Why not." Liam said.

"OMG! Thanks Liam!" I said giving him a hug.

"No problem see you tomorrow, at 10?" he asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

Liam went to his car and I closed the door and went to my room. I got ready for bed and fell asleep wondering how tomorrow would be.
