A Teacher's Perspective

Everyone always complains about being in school. I see post after post after long boring video about how awful it is to have to go and sit through classes. But no one ever looks at it from a Teacher's perspective.

Do you know how many memes or text posts I've seen about feeling bad for the teachers who also have to deal with boring subjects and obnoxious highschool kids?

Probably one, maybe.

I thought about this as I stared down at my new class of eighth graders, all groaning and mumbling about Mondays and how 'Its to early to take notes Mrs. Sainovich!'.

Please, I get here before you and leave after you each day, and I'm the one who has to plan all of these lessons!

Speaking of which, it looks like i'll be staying quite late tonight. I think as I glance over at the dozens of sticky notes littering my desk.

I bite the inside of my cheek, fighting the urge to peel them off.

Shaking my head, I turn back to my class. They are supposed to be working on their warm up, but instead are starring at the screen blankly.

I groan internally, this is going to be a long week.

A/N:
Okay guys, thanks for reading. I know this is super short and awful, but I had to write this for English and I figured I might as well post it so more than just my teacher can enjoy it.
Ily all! Comments and votes are much appreciated! Xx
