"Are you nervous about filming?" Joe asked.
"Yeah," I said tapping my knee and watching the outside pass us by as we drove to the studio.
"There's nothing to be scared about! At least you haven't got to sing!" Joe laughed.
"Yeah but what about the hate?" I sighed. Obviously the boys had a big fan base but I knew there were the haters mixed in there.
"They are just jealous - after all you get to dance with me!" Joe smirked, laughing.
"Are you excited Caspar?" I asked and turned to look at him in the back seat realising he had fell asleep leaning against the window. He had his mouth open and his face pressed against the window.
"We are here," Joe said as we pulled into a private road. He got stopped by a barrier but scanned a card he had which opened it and let us through. We followed the road around which led us to a car park behind the bin building which was where we were going to spend most of our day.
"Caspar wake up," I said gently as I nudged his leg slightly. There was no response so Joe took action.
"Oi, Caspar!" Joe said and punched his leg causing Caspar to jump out of his skin however he did wake up.
"Where are we?" He moaned as he forced his eyes open.
"At the studio, now wake up, we have to go into hair and makeup."
I was looking forward to hair and makeup because I loved getting done up ready for the shoot. It was one of my favourite parts of the shoot.
We made our way into the building and signed in. The boys had one dressing room and the girls had another. I left Joe and Caspar and headed in to our changing room revealing lines of mirrors and all the other girls.
"Hey!" Zoe shouted as she waved a makeup brush in the air. "You're the last here! Come on I'm going to do your hair and makeup!"
I headed over to Zoe and sat down in the chair in front of the mirror. She spun it round and looked as though she was thinking.
"I'm going to start with makeup, I think." She said. "Me, Louise, Tan, Lucy and Lydia are doing the hair and makeup- we figured it would be cheaper than hiring professionals. I volunteered to do you!" She smiled brightly as she began to prime my face.
"You fell unlucky then I guess?" I laughed.
"No!" She laughed. "I'm the luckiest!" She whispered in my ear before tucking a strand of hair away.
There was a knock on the door then a chorus of come ins. James entered holding a clip board with Jenna who was looking very professional as always.
"Ok girls, in exactly one hour we are going to begin shooting, we are going to start with the group scenes, then the solo, then the individual pairs - so be on set prompt and remember to stretch before we start!" James instructed and headed out.
"Good luck girls!" Jenna replied and followed out James.
"I'm so nervous!" I said to Zoe as she continued with my makeup.
"Don't be- you're more experienced than the boys- you know what you're doing!" She smiled. I could see Joes looks in Zoe, you could tell they were brother and sister.
After about half an hour of pontificating on my makeup Zoe finished and moved onto the hair. She spun me round so I could finally see my makeup in the mirror and it looked gorgeous.
"You look stunning!" A blonde girl said next to me. She had a friendly smile and short hair. "I'm Lucy by the way!"
"Hi Lucy, I'm Chlo!" I replied.
"Joes partner?" She asked.
"Yeah!"
"Ok hair, I'm under instruction what to do so if you don't like me don't kill me!" Zoe laughed.
"I'm sure I'll love it."
She combed it through then pulled out the curling wand. She loosely curled all of my hair in big loose curls. Finally she gripped two pieces back- one from each side then made sure they were secure.
"Ok, there is one final touch." She smiled. Pulling out a white bow. We hadn't seen the costumes yet but after that I presumed they were going to be white and fairly gentle.
She placed the bow in between the two grips so it looked as though the bow was holding the two pieces in place. She fixed it in so it was secure whilst I was dancing then gently moved some of my hair over my shoulders.
"You look gorgeous," she took a deep breath out as she looked at me in the mirror. "Now quick! Go and get ready!" She tapped my back and pointed to the small area in the corner of the room segregated off by a curtain.
I stepped behind the curtain to find a rack of costumes. They were dresses which fell slightly above the knee with a soft floating skirt attached to a leotard. It was so delicate and simple yet so beautiful.
I found the coat hanger with my name and slipped my dress on which fitted perfectly. I stepped from behind the curtain and all heads flicked to me.
Everyone began awing making me blush a little.
"You look amazing!" Zoe giggled as she ran over to me. "Now go and stretch ready to start shouting, the other girls will be down in a minute."
I left the changing room and followed the signs for "set" which I guessed was where we would film. I came to two doors which I pushed open gently and used my foot slightly trying not to mark my ballet shoes.
On the other side all of the boys were in different places. They were all wearing shirts and trousers looking smart however still cute and themselves at the same time. Immediately Joe came running over to me.
"You look beautiful!" He said as we headed towards the main area. There was just a plain white background and a large dance space.
"Thank you," I blushed. "I need to stretch though!"
"I'll sit with you," we sat down in the space and I fell into splits and began stretching each side.
"How did you get on with Zoe doing your makeup?" He asked.
"She was amazing! She's so lovely and she did it much better than I ever could."
"She said she wanted to do yours for you and immediately nominated herself as your makeup person or whatever they are called. Are you a bit more excited now?"
"Definitely, it still feels surreal though!"
"Well it's real!" He laughed. Just at that moment all of the other girls walked in minus Taylor. They sat down with me and joe and began stretching too.
"Where's Taylor?" I asked.
"Foundation trouble!" Seana laughed.
"In other words- she got makeup on her dress!" Gigi replied.
"Ouch, it's white as well!" I sighed. I knew we would be waiting a while now before we filmed. "I'm done!" I groaned standing up trying to loosen up. "I'm ready."
"Fancy a rehearsal?" Joe asked holding out his hand.
"Ok," I smiled.
He quickly grabbed me in a ballroom hold and began waltzing around the floor dragging me around. Not harsh, just gently.
Looking into his eyes he gave me butterflies. I got lost in the moment as he twirled me around. It felt so serene. I felt safe in his arms.
Then the moment broke.
"Ok guys lets begin!"
