Exhausted, I roll out of bed and do my normal school morning routine (shower, straighten my hair, do my makeup, get dressed).
"Ariella!" Nate calls from the kitchen.
"What?" I say moping out of room. Nate turns around and widens his eyes.
"Lord, you look terrible!" Nate says.
"Oh, wow. Just what every girl wants to hear." I roll my eyes and bite into my bagel.
Nate sat down in from of me. I already know
what this is about.
"So.. What happened with you and Ethan-"
"Nate, I swear none of that was true-"
"Good," Nate cuts me off.
"Well Ethan kissed me-"
"Ugh! Why did you let him kiss you?! He has a girlfriend! I thought he told you!" Nate says burying his face in his hands.
"No he never told me anything! He kissed me, and then I guess he told you and gray that lie.. Nate you know I'd never do that.. Don't you?" I say with little hope:
"I know you'd never force yourself on anyone, Ariella.. Just the fact you let him do it to you and you never told me.. I'm just disappointed in you." Nate stands up and grabs his car keys.
"Let's go, you're gonna be late."
•in school•
It's my first class and of course I have Ethan who sits in the back of me.
He wouldn't stop kicking my chair.
"Will you quit kicking my chair?!" I whisper yell.
"Woah, babe.. What was that all about?!" He smiles.
"Shut up! And don't call me babe you liar!" I say raising my voice.
"Ariella. Turn around and do your work." My teacher says.
Giggles circulate around the room.
"I heard Ariella kissed Ethan yesterday! Haha, she has no chill!"
"Like she has a chance with him?!"
"She ruined Ethan's relationship with Emily!"
"No wonder why she has no friends"
*kick*
"Ethan!" I yell.
"Mrs. Garner and Mr. Dolan.. Since you both have so much to say, why don't you both go down to the office and phone home. You both have detention till 3." She says pointing towards the door.
I shoot Ethan a dirty look and he smiles devilishly. I stand up and began to walk down the hall to the stair way.
"Hey!" Ethan yells.
"What, Ethan?! Okay?! You got what you wanted!! You successfully ruined my life! Are you happy with yourself ?!" I yell causing him to step back. He was no longer smiling. He just looked surprised.
"What? Can you not handle being talked back to?" I say getting close to him. He made no eye contact with me.
"Hellooo?" I say raising my voice.
I tapped his arm and he grabs my wrist. I began to wince in pain. He didn't loose his grip. He looks at his white knuckles and lets go quickly. Tears rushing out of my eyes.
"I- Im sorry!" Ethan says trying to pull me into a hug.
I slapped his right cheek.
"Don't touch me!" I scream causing a teacher to run in the hall.
"What The hell is going on in here?!" He says.
•In The office•
"I wanna go home" I cry to the nurse
"You can't! We understand your wrist hurts and we can't do anything to help you with that. You can have some ice?" She offers. I stand up.
"I wanna call my brother. Can I use your phone, please?"
"Yep" she says handing me the phone.
It rings twice and Nate picks up.
"Hello?"
"Um.. Nate it's me"
"Why are you calling??"
"Ethan.. he hurt me.. bad." I explain the whole story to him.
"Are you kidding me?! I'm picking you up! Get your books, let me talk to the nurse"
"Alright, love you"
"Love You too, lemme talk to her"
About a half an hour later Nate came to pick me up and he immediately checked my arm.
You could still see the print of Ethan's strong hand.
Ethan was kept in the vice principals office away from me and Nate talked to the teachers for a little while and I got a message.

If I end up going to jail, When
I get out, Im gonna go after you first.
I decide to leave it on read because I was too scared to answer. I wasn't gonna tell Nate because I knew he would literally kill Ethan and people will hate me even more.
Nate walks me out of school and we sit in the car.
"Ethan is going to jail for 1 year and we are filing for a restraining order"
We went out to eat and then decided to go home.
There was a police car outside Grays house. Ethan was cuffed up and looked me in the eyes as I rolled up my window.
"Can you drive a little faster??" I command nervously.
