Gingerbread cookies recipe

Ingredients:
2 3/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
8 tbsp of soft unsalted butter (can use vegan butter if vegan)
1 egg (again, if vegan use flaxseed egg)
4 tbsp of maple syrup

Directions:
> preheat oven 350 F
> combine dry ingredients in large bowl
> beat egg and add to dry ingredients; add maple syrup and mix
> put in fridge for 30 min
> flour surface and rolling pin
> roll out dough so it's 1/2 inch thick and cut out shapes using cookie cutter
> set on greased pan and bake for 15 min
> let it cool down and decorate ♡
