Hand in Hand take me to the creek.
To the bridge.
I will follow you.
Take me to the picnic blanket underneath the stars.
Take me back to the years where I could see you and touch you.
Let me see the smile on your face that has been lit up by the fireworks in the night sky.
Your beautiful curly blonde hair.
I always adored you.
I adored the way you picked me up and hugged me, spinning through the air.
Walk the perimeter with me once more will you?
Run around on the concrete with me just one more time.
Take my arm and lead me through the forest for the last time.
Take me to your last day.
We could walk around the town.
Splash in the pool.
Go to the park next to Litke Mill.
Then, when we had to part, you would give me one of your lovely hugs.
My head on your shoulder as we spin around.
Maybe, just then, I could convince you to stay.
As much as I wish to relive all those memories.
They are just memories.
I will never see you again,
But I realized we have never had a proper goodbye.
So this time is for real.
Goodbye love.
