Thomas POV:

I step out of Pollux's Room and lean against the wall. Something doesn't feel right. I lean against the wall. What is wrong here? I can feel it. Whatever is wrong it's not here it's ... this way. I start to sprint down the hallway. My footsteps echo down the empty corridor. My heart thuds but its still telling me that something down this hall is wrong. I sprint on it's coming up right ... here! I stop at a door. I touch the door handle and instantly pull my hand back. It's searing hot. I have to figure out whats behind that door.

Wait, I'm in a soul I have some say on what's going on. so its not hot. It is room temperature. I reach out. I pull my hand back. What if it isn't as cool as it should be? I grab it quickly and throw it open. My hand is on fire. I look at my palm and it's bright red on a dog this would a second degree burn. I need some supplies and I can have this for the most part ready. First though I want to know whats in the room. I push the door open with my good hand to see a room of boxes.

Each one is labeled. I find one labeled first aid. Considering we're in a hospital you would think we wouldn't need it but inside are just the essentials. I have enough to wrap my hand safely, not sterilely but safely. I look through some of the other boxes. There are quite a few labeled Castor. Most are just first person perspectives of Castor hurting someone. I'm assuming it's Pollux. This must be where he stores his memories. There is another box it's full of clothes. This one has my name on it. I open it inside is a variety of things. Hey I thought I lost that scarf. Hey there is a photo album in here. It's just pictures of me when Pollux and I met up in my dreams. There's a light knock on the door. "I thought I'd find you here. You really, um, know how to hide." I drop the album and stare at Pollux. He stood in the doorway smiling. "Hey guys, um, I found him"

Silver hair rips the door off the hinges. Pollux flees behind a stack of boxes. Mandy comes flying in. She just latches onto me. Steven walks in calmly after her. I sit there waiting for Mandy to calm down and let me go. While Mandy sits on my chest yelling about how worried she was about me when I suddenly disappeared. There is a small box labeled Mandy and it started to grow so did mine. Mandy continues to yell and I just wait.

I don't know how long Mandy reamed me for wandering off but she lost steam eventually. I don't know what came over her but she suddenly looked at Steven. She started blaming him for me wandering off. She chased him down the hall leaving me on the floor and Pollux cowering behind boxes. "S-she scares me." He stepped out and offered me his hand. "So, um, since we're alone there is something I wanted to ask you. Is everyone out there like her? or are they more like him? Are they like us? Are there a lot of mean people?"

I smiled. He hasn't been away from people for a couple years and he's already forgotten what they're like. He really is like a little kid experiencing everything all over again. "No, well actually, yes? People can't be put into four categories. There are 7 billion people on this planet and no two are the same. In a way everyone has the power of ... oh my god that sounds so cliche everyone has the power of being themselves it's stupid and cliche but in a way true. There's a reason there are so many songs and books about being yourself and loving who you are. I'm not saying love or friendship have helped us manifest our powers, but without the help and support of my friends I would be out there talking to a squirrel about what acorns taste like."

He was delighted to hear that. He laughed and pulled me up into a hug. His short, slender frame hides some muscle. He pulled me close and held me there. He loosened his grip and we stood there for a moment. I looked down into his eyes. He looked up into mine. I never realized this but my lips reach his nose. He looks away then looks up expectantly. "So, um, are you gonna ya know?"

I roll my eyes and lightly kiss him. When we pull back he nods and smiles. Mandy rounds the corner and points at us. "I knew you two would kiss if we left you guys alone."
