Out on the mainline on Sodor, a little blue tank engine was racing down the line in order to get to the big station. He whistles twice with a high-pitch whistle, as he puffs by a farm, and the farmer waved to the blue tank engine.
The engine is an LB&SCR E2 Class 0-6-0 Tank engine, with 6 small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler, and a short stumpy dome. He has blue paint with red lining around the boiler tanks, red buffer beams, and a number one in yellow on the sides of the tanks. This engine is known as Thomas, the number one engine.

'A story, like a railway, has its greatest heroes. Like Thomas. He's our Number One hero on this railway. The Island of Sodor is an island off the coast of the United Kingdom, where Thomas and his friends live. It's my home on the railway, and where my friends also live .'

At the big station of Knapford, a few engines race by on their separate lines, pulling either trucks, or coaches. They blow their whistles and ring their bells to one another, as they pass by one another. Percy, a small green tank engine, was pulling cattle trucks, while Toby, a brown steam tram, was pulling some coaches for a stopping train, and Gordon, a big blue tender engine, was pulling four green and cream coaches for the express. Finally, a big green tender engine, by the name of Henry, was waiting at the signals to go and pick up his freight train.
'I love to help out on this railway, and I can't help but smile at the smiling faces of all the engines on Sodor. Also, me and my friends do everything we can do to help out one another...and a bit more...'

Early one morning, at Killian Station, Gordon was waiting impatiently for Thomas and his BranchLine train. However, he wasn't alone. A girl, by the name of Karen, was with him, and waiting for Thomas also.
Karen is a Malaysian-Indian girl at 18. She has dark skin, with a slight brown tone, jet black hair in a high ponytail with a red ribbon, her eyes a gentle green like grass, while she has a slim smile on her face. She has a slender body, but has a few curves here and there. She is in a pair of black pants, and a yellow short-sleeve shirt with red lining.
