Flight to Cebu [Oneshot]

a/n: Hello guys. :) FIrst time wattpad-er! Hahaha. Story from my kathniel tumbleblog batman-msjebs! :D English is my most-used laguage, so pasensya kung english yung mga hindi dialogue. I'm trying to write in full filipino though! :D one day, haha.

“Ladies and Gentlement welcome aboard the Philippine Airlines, flight number 2638. Please make sure that all carry-on items are stowed either in an overhead compartment or completely beneath the seat in front of you—”

“Uy,” Daniel said, nudging Kathryn’s shoulder, who looked half-awake, “okay ka lang?” 

“Hah? Oo, kulang lang sa tulog.” Kathryn replied with a yawn.

“—Once again, we welcome you onboard.” 

“Kath, matulog ka muna kaya. Mga isang horas rin naman tayo dito sa eroplano,” Daniel suggested, as Kathryn struggled to keep her eyes open.

“Ayoko, baka ano pa mangyari.” Kathryn replied, slightly slapping her face in attempt to wake herself up.

“Tigas talaga ng ulo, sige na nga, ewan ko sayo.” Daniel said, putting his headphones over his ears.

A few minutes later, Daniel had felt his shoulder slump. Looking down, he saw a mop of hair on his shoulder. He smiled, pushing the hair away from the owner’s face. 

“Nuks, ang sweet niyo naman!” Daniel looked up and saw kuya Mark grinning at him, before lifting his phone and showing him a picture of him and Kathryn, with her head on his shoulder, and his hand pushing away her hair from her face. 

“Kuya naman eh! Wag mo ‘yan ipost sa twitter. Papatayin tayo ni Kath.”

“Ba’t naman? Cute kaya! Tignan mo. Ang daming matutuwa sa picture na to.”

“Eh, basta. Magalit pa mama ni Kath sakin. Alam mo naman strict sila eh.” Daniel explained, scratching the back of his head.

“Sige na nga, pero di ko idedelete. Ipapakita ko kay Kath.” Kuya Mark said, smirking. “Lahat na sa buong mundo alam na gustong gusto niyo ang isa’t isa, maliban sa inyong dalawa.”

“Weh? Dami mong alam ah.”

“…We will be landing in a few minutes. Thank you for flying with Philippine Airlines.”

“Kath…” Daniel said, slowly shaking the girl beside him awake. “Kath, maglaland na tayo.”

“Hmm?” Kathryn said, slowly getting up. “Ay, DJ, sorry!” She said quickly, after realizing she had spent the whole flight sleeping on his shoulder. 

“Ba’t ka nagsosorry?” Daniel asked, chuckling.

“Eh.. tinulugan kita. Literally.”

“Okay lang yun, ano ka ba.” Daniel said in reply, with a small smile on his face.

Kathryn smiled back. “Thank you.”
