My heart starts pounding at a faster rate as I set down my Subway takeout on my doorstep. I take my knife out of my jacket pocket and hold it ready in my hand. I quietly step into the house, keeping the lights off in case the person inside my house is still there. All the doors are closed except for the living room door which is slightly ajar. I walk slowly over to the entrance of the living room, my knife held in one hand and the other slowly pushing the door open. I step into the room, lit only by moonlight. No one to be seen. I let out a relived sigh, and as I am about to set my knife back in my jacket pocket, I feel a hand on my shoulder. I quickly grab the and throw the person over me, so that they are lying on the floor, my knees holding down their shoulders and my knife to their neck.

"Yup, that's definitely her." says a voice coming from behind me. The lights click on and I see two men in the room; one at the door, and the other underneath my knife.

"Who are you? Why are you in my house?" I demand.

"Relax," the one by the door says, "my name is Dean and that's my brother Sam."

"Dean..? Sam...? It's really you guys?" I let Sam go from under my knife. It's my first time meeting the Winchester brothers in person and lets say I came quite unprepared.

"Yeah, its us. And you must be Malencia, I assume?' Sam asks as he gets up.

"Just call me Cia. And I don't see why you guys couldn't just have waited for me to get home and then knocked on the door."

"Well..." Dean starts.

"Our dad sent us coordinates to your house." Sam interrupts before Dean can say anything more. Probably because they can't come up with an excuse for not knocking.

"We think there's something strange going on in this town, Cia," he tells me, "I'm guessing that you know about the two high school boys that went missing a year ago?"

"Yeah, apparently no one ever knew what happened to them." I answer.

"Well, three days ago, the Missing Persons Department pulled two young male bodies out of the big river by the woods," Dean adds on, "and they were identified as Jeremy Richard and Raphael Cole." he continues.

"Those were the boys that went missing." I conclude.

"Yep. And just another guy went missing last night, Sawyer Walter." Dean adds on. "There were police searching the river banks in the morning but they didn't find anything so tomorrow they're headed further upstream. We can go search the river downstream tomorrow morning." he suggests.

"That sounds good." Sam says. "You in Cia?" he asks me.

"Hell yes, it's my first hunt!" I respond excitedly.

"Alright then," Dean claps his hands together, "we'll head out in the morning."

"Follow me, I'll find you guys a place to sleep." I gesture for the boys to follow me upstairs.

I show them the guest room, "You guys can stay in here. Good night."

"Hold up, Bengtsson." Dean stops me in my tracks. "I'm not sleeping in the same bed as Sam."

"Umm, yes you are. There's no where else for you to sleep. Unless you prefer the floor, or course." I cross my arms.

"What about that room? The one with the lock." Sam walks over to the padlocked door.

"That's my parents' room, you can't go in there." I say quickly. Ever since my dad left I've kept his windows and doors locked. Only I can get into it whenever I need to. Before Dean can protest I tell him,

"There's a mattress under the guest bed, pull it out and you can sleep on the floor." I get a blanket and throw it at his feet, and then a pillow at his head.

"Good night." I say one final time before closing the door and heading off to bed, smiling as I go to sleep since I am not going to school tomorrow.
