I sang out as I pulled into the school's parking lot searching for an open spot. Luckily, I found one and parked my gray GMC Terrain, grabbed my bag, and got out. making my way up the school steps and through the doors.
While walking down the hallway to my locker I overhear people saying things like
"Oh my gosh, he is SO hot!"
and
"He just looked at me, he is totally interested!"
I wonder why everyone is freaking out I think to myself as I unlock my locker and grab my books and head to my first class, English.
Usually everyone is half-asleep, so it surprised me when the kids were all crowed around where I usually sit--all the way in the back. I then notice that someone is sitting there, well shit. Oh well, I'll just sit somewhe--------- "There she is!" my friend Elizabeth shouts and all eyes turn towards me but I just walk up to her and ask what she means.
"Oh!" She shouts and then whispers, "You see there is a REALLY hot new guy and I'm trying to hook you guys up." She smirks evilly.
Oh god
"But why?" I confusedly ask
"Welllll, considering you've been single for about- oh! FOREVER, I thought I'd help you out."
"Listen, I know you're trying to help but I don't even know this kid's name nor what he looks like!"
And with that she pulled me over to the crowd of people and pushed us through, so we were standing in front of, what I assumed to be, the new kid.
I have to admit he was really hot but he doesn't seem like a person I'd date. Maybe we could just be friends?
"So, uhh...." Elizabeth trailed off forgetting his name, "It's Zayn." He says annoyed, but the look soon fades when he looks up to me and smiles. I will say he seems a bit cocky.
"Right, Zayn. Anyway this is my friend Isabella that I told you about, but you can just call her Bella."Beth says, ignoring his look. "I'd rather call her sexy." He smirks and bites his lip while looking over to me and I shiver.
"Everyone back to your seats! Leave the poor guy alone." Mr. Connelly shouts and everyone rushes to sit down. As I turn around I feel a hand on my wrist and I turn to look at the person, who happens to be Zayn. Right before I can ask what he wants he lifts my hand to his mouth and kisses it, then flips it over and gives me a note.
I make my way to my seat where Beth is is freaking out, "Oh my god, he totally likes you!" she shrieks. "Too bad, I'm not looking for a relationship." I say calmly as her eyes narrow at me "Are you fucking insane?! You haven't ever been in a relationship and say you 'aren't looking for one'?"
"Basically." I say and get up just as the bell rings and make it to my next class math, and then science.

As I walk into the lunch room I spot Beth, Aria, and their boyfriends sitting at our usual table by the windows.
"Hey guyssss" I say as I sit down next to Aria, "Hey Bella! So you and the new kid, huh?" Aria moves her eyebrows."Jesus Christ, Beth what'd you tell them?" I scold and they all start laughing, "I just said that he was interested in you and you guys should date. That's all, calm down." She laughs and I soon join in before we get interupted by someone clearing their throat. We all turn our heads toward who it is and see it is Zayn.
