Chapter 18: With Him Again

Pag kaalis nila Pochollo at Nikka aalis na rin sana ko ng may lumapit sakin.

" Let me help you with that."-Axel and Kiann

Napatingin ako sa kanila. With a "why look" in my face.

" Let's have some snacks." - Axel and Kiann.

Iisa lang ba utak ng dalawang to? Kanina pa sila parehas ng sinasabi huh!? I looked at them and of course they are waiting for my answer. Sasabihin ko sanang okay lang ako but something came up my mind....

I look at Kiann and smiled " okay. Medyo ginutom din ako dun. Basta treat mo huh."

Binigay ko kay Kiann yung camera set ko to impose that I will go with him.

Ngumiti naman si Kiann while si Axel parang papel na nalukot ang mukha. Hahaha! He deserves that.

Naglalakad na kami ni Kiann when Axel shouted. Enough to catch  attention of the crowd.

" Xandy! Why not me?" Axel in his distorted face.

Gusto yata talaga niyang gumagawa ng scene ngayong araw na to. Well sorry Axel.....but this is not your day..

" I told you.... You didn't prove anything yet. And Kiann is on the top....not you."  I replied sarcastically.

" I am your first." Axel shouted again.

At first I was shocked. Baka malaman nila.... But I recovered fast. I looked at him with a blank expression.

" That was before.... But now? You're not even in the scale from 1-10." Oops! That was absurd.

Pero pasensya siya... This is me now. Two points!

Pinagpatuloy ko ang paglalakad ko with Kiann na nakakunot ang noo. Looks like his wondering with what I said. I still manage to look backward and there he is.... Axel.... With his sad and humiliated face. I know that. Hindi siya sanay ipahiya, hindi siya sanay hindi piliin at higit sa lahat hindi siya sanay iwan. With that thought, parang may tinik na tumusok sa dibdib ko.

Kiann's P.O.V.

Sakin sumama si Aeries para magmeryenda. I am so happy with the thinking na ako ang pinili nya.... Pero bakit parang may mali? Bakit parang may na sesense akong hatred sa bawat salitang ipupukol nya kay Axel?

" I told you.... You didn't prove anything yet. And Kiann is on the top....not you." 

" I am your first."

" That was before.... But now? You're not even in the scale from 1-10."

Those arguments are not that simple para hindi pag usapan sa buong University. Anong ibig sabihin ni Axel na sya ang una? At the worst, Aeries confirmed it.

Nasa loob na kami ng Starbucks pero wala pa ring imik si Aeries mula ng umalis kami kanina sa court. She let me order her food without any hesitations.

" ahmmm. Aeries I hope you don't mind. Magkakilala ba kayo noon pa ni Axel? Cause you know....the way you talked to each other...."

" He's my schoolmate during elementary and high school days whom the owner is my father, he's the captain ball back then. So if nagtataka ka if bakit nya nasabing he was the first, he's pertaining to it. Ahead siya satin ng one year so ayun. Ibig sabihin mas nauna siyang maging captain ball kesa sayo. That's why he's being insecure." Mahaba nyang pag eexplain.

" Did he courted you?" Paglalakas loob kong tanong sa kanya. Medyo natigilan sya saglit but she answered.

" A sort of. Barkada ko kasi siya dati. Pero hanggang dun lang yun." Nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag sa sinabi nya.
