chapter 4

Rin's p.o.v
  As natsu walked away, I stood there with my head down. I started at the floor , deep in thought. Then I heard someone calling me "rin!" I looked up to see Lucy waving at me through her window. "What are you doing just standing there?" She asked. I realized what I am doing and blushed in embarrassment, "I-uh, ummm... Heh" I managed to stutter out and rubbed the back of my head nervously. I watched as lucy closed the window, a few seconds later she opened her front door and ran over to me. She grabbed my arm and dragged me into her house.

  "Aren't you cold" She asks and she rubs my arms, trying to warm me up. I chuckled a little and brushed her off gently. "No, Im fine" Then she tilted her head "why we're you out there just staring at the floor" I stayed silent. I didn't want to tell her what natsu said. If she knew that it was my fault she got attacked, she would hate me..

  My thoughts were interrupted by a frustrated blonde. I felt a pain on my forehead. I blinked on surprise and realized that the blonde women had flicked me. "Eh?" I ask bewildered. She groaned and then dragged me to her living room. She made me sit on the couch as she sat on the other one across from me. "Rin, what's wrong?" She asks concerned. I smiled widely "nothing Lucy, I am just fine" She didn't seem convinced "are you sure?" She asks once again. I nodded "positive" I said firmly. She sighed and stood up, "do you want to stay here for the night, I don't want you to walk back to your hotel room at night" I yawned "yes, thank you, I can sleep right here on the couch" I said sleepily. She giggled "okay, I'll go get you a blanket" I nodded and layed down on the couch, I closed my eyes and slowly faded in and out of conscious. I felt something fluffy cover me and a soft, small hand pick up my head. Then I felt a pillow under me, "thank you Lucy.. " I said sleepily. "Your welcome rin" I heard her whisper. Then I slipped out of consciousness.

Shiemi's p.o.v
  I watched as Rin and a pink haired male walk a blonde girls home. I was seething in jealousy. That should be me! I deserve to have two handsome males protecting me! Not some weak blonde bimbo! I seen that the blonde girl, I now know as Lucy, walk inside her house. I smirked, finally I can carry out my plan. Rin and the pink haired male stood in front of her apartment for awhile, it's seems as if there having a conversation. I heard the last bit of it and anger consumed me. "... Or I'll kill you.." How dare he say that to my precious rin-sama!!
 
  I was about to jump out and stab the pink haired boy, but before I could, he walked away. I growled in anger, but low enough so rin-sama doesn't hear. I watched silently as my rin-sama stared at the floor, deep in thought. I was about to walk up to him, but Lucy opened her window and called my rin-sama, he looked up and they started talking to each other. Then she suddenly closed the window. I was confused? HOW DARE SHE SHUT THE WINDOW ON MY RIN-SAMA! Then she suddenly ran out and dragged my rin-sama into her house. OH HECK NO. I quickly made sure i had my knife, I walked up to the first story window and looked through. I can see her rubbing his arms, I was about to jump in and push her away, but my rin-sama brushed her off. I sighed in relief but continued watching her. I CAN'T LET HER TOUCH WHAT'S MINE!

  Then they walked away into the living room. They continued to talk with each other until Lucy stood up and walked away. Rin-sama layed down on the couch. NOW IS MY CHANCE TO SNEAK IN! I carefully tried to open the window. It was halfway open, but Lucy walked back to the living room. My eyes widened as I ducked. I peeped my head over to see a little. Lucy gave rin-sama a blanket and a pillow. She ruffled his hair and was about to walk back to were ever she went to before. But she stopped halfway. She looked over at the window I was by. I quickly hid. I heard her footsteps come closer, I grinned evilly and had a crazed look in my eyes, I put my knife close to the window. When she comes to look out, I'll stab her right in her big, pretty eyes! I grew more excited as the footsteps came closer. When I knew that she was next to the window, I put on my black mask and jump up. I aimed right for her eye. But i missed!! I looked down and seen Lucy on the floor with shock written all over her face, and next to her was rin-sama! He saved her!?! Rin quickly got into battle stance and hid Lucy behind him. I quickly jumped out the window. I cannot fight with my love! I heard him chasing me. Damn it, I ran faster and jumped into the canal where a boat was waiting for me. I swam towards the boat and climbed in. I started the engine and looked at rin-sama to see him watching me go. I blew him a kiss and waved. He looked at me in disgust before I was out of his view.

  He will love me. No matter how many people I have to kill, I will do it, for my precious rin-sama.

Rins p.o.v
  I watched as the attacker got away. They had a mask on and were wearing all black! How the hell am I supposed to know who it was! I ran back to Lucy's apartment, I look at her to see her staring down at the floor in shock. I gently touched her shoulder. "Lucy... " She looked up at me. "Are you okay" I ask warily. She nodded "I should be used to this by now... " I looked at her confused till I remember that Wendy told me she has been attacked before. I walk towards the window and shut it. I make sure to lock it and walk back to Lucy. She stood up and made sure that the door was locked. "You should sleep lucy, I'll keep watch" I say while sitting on the couch. She yawned "are you sure your not tired? " She asked "don't worry, once I feel like it's safe ill go to sleep" She nodded and walked upstairs to her bedroom. I looked down at the ground and remembered what natsu had said to me the other day. So does that mean he is going to kill me once he finds out what happened to Lucy?

I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts. I shouldn't get distracted, I need to focus on protecting Lucy....
