Hey, awesome peeps! Sorry that I haven't posted anything in awhile. My creative juices just weren't mixing correctly. But then, my high school gave me a blender when they introduced the Creative Writing class. HOORAY! Now we're mixing.

To those reading, I promise I'll get to PureHeart at some point, but for now here's a little something I finished in class. Our prompt was journal entries, but I went with letters. Close enough. I hope you enjoy!

Dear Miss Henrie,

I apologize for missing our session yesterday evening. I had too much homework to deal with and my parents were out, so they couldn't drive me. They must have forgotten about it. I promise to talk to them so I can see you next week instead. You don't need to call them as I will remind them on my own time.

Sincerely, Macey J.

Dear Miss Henrie,

I am sorry once again that I was not at the clinic. I swear I had tried to remind my parents many times, but they had some meeting. And you remember from our first meeting how much I told you of their love of listening to each other's voices, so... I promise this time to tell them, but please don't call them. They already  have enough on their plate with work so I don't want to bother them.

Sincerely, Macey J.

Dear Miss Henrie,

To be honest with you, Miss Henrie, school has been incredibly overwhelming with papers, midterms, SATs. It's very hard for a junior to deal with due to social media, friends, drama, etc. Due to studying problems, I had to miss out on the session once again. I promise that I definitely reminded my parents. You know what they say? Third time's the charm. Except that my mom was sick at home and my dad was on overtime. I still can't drive and I didn't want to bother my friends. Some of them haven't really talked to me in awhile since... Anyways, please do NOT call or email my parents as to what is going on. They're just overwhelmed since Mom is sick and Dad is... busy. I hope to see you next week.

Sincerely, Macey J.

P.S. Her name is Quinn. The girl I'm having problems with. You remember her, red hair, perfect eyes, bright future?

Mar. 26

Dear Miss Henrie,

... So, my parents told me of a little voice message you left on our house phone yesterday. I was grounded from going on my computer, so I couldn't email you until now. I promise that I'm fine and that I really don't need the sessions anymore. My friends help even when they're busy with their stuff and my parents are so encouraging when they're not disappointed in me my slowly lowering grades. Anyways, I have to be quick since I still have homework and studying to do before my parents get home. Please, I'm begging you, don't worry them about me anymore. They're already mad at me. Just reschedule with me sometime.

Sincerely, Macey J.

P.S. I have noticed that Quinn has been visiting your office a lot more. Is she doing ok?

Dear Miss Henrie,

I know that I must be causing you problems since I have not appeared since my last... four sessions, but this time I had some other things going on. I haven't been able to see my friends as often as I am focusing on my SATs. I can't talk to my parents since they've been arguing more than usual. I'm still ok though, just trying to cope. I almost walked there; I actually got to our driveway before my mom noticed. She didn't need to ask where I was going since she already assumed I was doing something that would ruin my life so... I am grounded again. This will be my last email for awhile. I hope you're doing ok and are not stressed. Easter and Lent are always fun. Maybe I'll see you after break?
