First Day

I was up all night in the shit hold of a house all dirty and abandoned I hated it but we had nothing else I looked over to marmau she looked to be having another nightmare she always has the same one about our parents being slaughtered in front of us last year, all we were doing was having fun marmau was having a sleep over at my house but her parents came to drop her off when they went to leave they had swords in there chests my mom and dad grabbed me and marmau and locked us all in the bathroom my mom slid me out the window safely and my dad slid marmau out when my dad and mom was about to come to two swords were in there chest's to blood was all over me an marmau we ran the two murder's left and I haven't seen them since then, a tear came down my face, I wiped it away before marmau woke up "here!" I threw her, her school uniform "heh, I'm not! wearing this it has a skirt!" marmau yelled I laughed and said "fine no uniforms they did say there optional" i said as marmau giggled I was not always like this I'm only like this around marmau cause if I show her I'm hurt there will be know one to try and stay positive so I put on a fake smile and we headed to school, when we got outside the school it was kinda pretty but I acted like it was any other school and walked in with marmau on my side, we went to the office to see the principal and two students "Hi my name is Eren and this is my sister Mikasa, you two are the new students right?" he said looking at us waiting for an answer "ugh, are all the kids like this cause if so where is the exit sign?" I say I hated to say that but I needed to act strong "Star! don't say stuff like that there only being nice.." marmau said and said "I'm so sorry Eren Mikasa, Star has not been herself after--" I cut her off before she could say another word "ENOUGH MARMAU! if you want me to protect you and be by your side you need to trust me!" I yelled and Eren and mikasa seemed worried "I'm sorry star I was just trying to apologize" marmau said she looks like she wants to cry I hug her and apologize and then Eren handed me mine and marmaus school schedule I took it roughly and headed out to my first class marmau and I were not in the same class but it was only two classes we were not both in all the other classes we had the same I hugged marmau one last time then headed to my first class as I started walking there I seen a blonde headed blue eyed light skinned teen boy looked about my age but he was getting bullied by two other teens this pissed me off and I went up to all three of them "hey! whats going here?!" I asked "non of your business lady" one of the kids bulling the blonde said "i think it is my business!" I punch one of the teens down the hole hallway this scared the other teen so he ran off "hey! you ok kid?" i asked the blonde guy i saved "y-yea I'm fine h-how did you do that?" he asked "oh, i learned to fight for myself, but are you ok? did they hurt you?" i asked worriedly "nahh I'm good they didn't hurt me this time they were going to if you didn't show up though" he said i sighed "i hate kids like that!" i say "h-hey what' your name?" he asked me "oh, my name is Star! and you are?" i say nicely to him "I'm Armin, its nice to meet you Star" Armin said i smiled and then i realized i was late for class Armin looks at my schedule "oh, we have the same classes cool! come on all show you the way!" Armin said he seemed happy that i was in the same classes as him i was to be truthful, he seemed to be a nice guy and i wanted friends but when we walked into the class i seen Eren in the class, 'great, now I'm stuck with him all year' i said to myself

Armin grabbed my hand and he took me to the only two seats not taken they were right next to each other i sat right beside the window and Armin sat next to me but the downside to all this is Eren sat behind me i sighed and blanked out well looking out the window then the teacher called my name

"Star, do you know the answer to it?" i looked at the front and said "sorry i blancked out what was the question?" the teacher didn't seem mad at all "its ok Star, starting a new school can be hard if you want i can ask someone else" she said "No i wanna answer it what was the question?" she looked at me surprised then said "If logx (1 / 8 ) = 3 / 2, is equal to?" i answered and got it right
