2 - The Incident

I have been hanging out with Ace, Sabo, and Luffy for a few months now. We hunt animals every now and then. Sometimes Sabo would get confused because a beast would suddenly die even if we never hit it. I don't even know if I should tell them about Haki. They'll learn it one day of they are strong enough... right?

There was fire everywhere. People were running with blood stains left and right. Screams filled the area. The sight was horrible.

"AHHHHHH!!!!"

The screamed of a child filled my ears. No, it can't be. Luffy?!

I ran in the direction of the scream. I couldn't find them. It was hard to; people were screaming and shouting everywhere I look.

I must be imagining things. I mean, at this time they're with Dadan, right?

I calmed down a bit after thinking that. I took a breath and ran out of the area wth the fire.

No, it can't be.

Ace and Luffy were crying on a cliff, mourning over something. I had "left" a few weeks prior, so they don't know that I'm still on the island.

"Hey, Ace,"
"What?"
"Promise you won't die, okay? Promise me you won't die."
"BAKA! Of course I won't die! Why would I leave such a weak brother like you here?!"
"But-"
"Besides, I promised Sabo that I would protect you, ever since he died."

Why... What... happened? Sabo died?! What?!

I felt something warm then cold run down my cheeks. Tears? What did I do? Why didn't I teach them Haki when I had the chance? I can't face them like this... I can't... I have to leave... Before I become a mad woman from agony...

"Teleport." I said out loud.

Suddenly, I was in a room of light. This is what usually happens when I teleport somewhere. I just need to wait for a few moments.

I fell on a hill. Dusting myself, I looked around. There were HUGE trees in the distance. Bubbles appeared out of nowhere. I felt a bit surprised - this was not where I expected to arrive at.

Well then, I thought to myself. I guess Imma have to live in the Grand Line from now on...

"Hey look it's a pretty girl! She'll make for a great sell!"
